Kinda interested in what you guys in the 13th enjoy. I'll list mine by language.

English: Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Body of Lies, Enemy at the Gates, The Hurt Locker, Jarhead, The Pianist, Inglourious Basterds, Band of Brothers, The Pacific

German: Downfall(Der Untergang), The Counterfeiters(Die Fälscher), The Baader Meinhof Complex(Der Baader Meinhof Komplex), Speer and He(Speer und Er)

French: Days of Glory(Indigènes)

Japanese: Letters from Iwo Jima, Yamato(Otoko Tachi No Yamato)

Finnish: Winter War(Talvisota), Ambush(Rukajärven tie)

Hebrew: Beaufort, Lebanon

Spanish: Che Part One + Two

Might be a few more, but the majority, and these are just war specific. =D, quite a collection.

It's from the Japanese perspective on Iwo Jima, and is the opposite of Flags of Our Fathers. Clint Eastwood directed both.

Whoa Ghost! You've probably watched more foreign war films than all the foreign films I've ever seen!

Personally my favourite has got to be Full Metal Jacket.

Yeah forgot to add FMJ. I'd recommend pretty much any of these movies, cept maybe Speer und Er. I like that one because Albert Speer was one of my favorite architects. But quite a few are also hard to find.

I liked Behind Enemy Lines also, but I mean it wasn't the most accurate film. But decent enough.

Enemy at the Gates is very good and probably my 3rd favorite.

Midway is awesome, as is the North and South series (if you can get past all the romance crap)

also let's not forget The Patriot and Delta Force for you Chuck Norris fans (I still want that motorcycle)

I haven't seen it yet, but I want to. Matt Damon was amazing in the Bourne series, which I love, so I hope this will be excellent too.

Quote de quote

I saw it, its brilliant. It's like a bourne prequel (cos bourne was a Cap'n (yarr!) in the army/marines) it is SICK. go watch it.

NOW.

(thats an order Wink )
