I plan on going into the marines as soon as I finish high school

True, the MOS you aim in getting is not always the one you end up in.

I wanted to go into the Army warrant officer program as a civilian, and become a helicopter pilot...but unfortunately I'm too short...

Oh well, I'll just work for the FBI then lol

they have a height limit to be a heli pilot? Well I guess I shouldn't be laughing my goal was gonna be Infantryman (11B) in the U.S. Army, but I just learned that I am just barely colorblind (I have trouble telling the difference between dark colors) and you can't be in Infantry if your at all colorblind.

Not exactly, When you Start off in the Navy, you could end up in a Base or a ship...usely a base. But when you get up in Rank like to Sergent, most of the time you end up on a patrol boat in Africa scaning for piretes...thats when some of the action starts, Or you could sighn up for Navy Seal and take the test there...but usaly patrol boat ^^

2007-2011 US army, chances of being shot is 13%, chances of being shot and killed 4%. This is for everyone pretty much, If your less skilled % of dieing could be higher. But most deaths from that time period had mostly been from stupid idiots in the Military, like geting drunk and driveing. Shooting ranges, People forget that theres a bullet in the chamber, boom, they killed there freind, mostly its that stuff, it aint WW2 anymore, lol.

Yeah, if you watched the HBO series The Pacific you get a good scene of what it is liked to be on motor team

1. get a degree in criminal justice
2. join a police department
3. hopefully end up a detective eating donuts and tracking down the murderous scum of the Earth

Yeah, i want to do marines but i dont think im that fit to do it, so im going to prolbly do is go officer for the army's Calvary division
