BF2, DirectX giving me grief

Ok, so I've got the full game of BF2 now, and DirectX is making me feel rather welcomed to BF2...
So, here's the problem. I'll open up the game, it'll detect the disk* and I'll have an error message saying I haven't got DX9.0c or higher. HOWEVER, my system specs are DX11 and I have even reinstalled DX11 (also tried DX9.0c).
