| I play Hardcore due to the fact it needs more teamwork than regular |

| Hardcore gets a bad reputation because of people saying they are "Hardcore" for playing, but I and the rest of the Warlords like it.
It takes more co-operation/teamwork, which is a plus.

| Doesn't it change spotting? Like, it doesn't visually mark targets, you just get the radio chatter, right?
Something like, "Douchebag with 12x scope is camping up in the rocks, pwn him plz?"
Since I have a job interview on Monday, I may very well be playing some BC2 with you warlords pretty soon. I have a bit of experience with the game since my cousin has it for his xbox and I play from time to time when I visit. |

| Hardcore is for people who can't bear to let go of COD.
Cooperation/teamwork? All it does is make everyone snipe. It makes important things in the game obsolete, such as sensor balls and spotting. And you will find that you'll very rarely get a full 12 man team, as not many people play it. |

| Well I know me and the rest of the warlords WHEN we do play we choose hardcore. It's pretty difficult to just go Rambo on people that way plus t requires MUCH MORE teamwork than "Regular" mode pft!!! Also warlords we need to actually start playing again D****. |

The cooperation in Hardcore include likes of Not being able to spot and no kill cam afterwards, this needs really good communication between members to find that killer. It doesn't make everyone snipe, You only need one sniper in your squad (this is from my experience with the warlords playing Squad Rush) To guide the attackers planting where the enemies are. And i get lots of full games on Hardcore, especially on rush |

| Fair enough about the COD thing, maybe that was a little extreme But I'd rather not faff about trying to coordinate a search for this one sniper who is laying waste to my entire squad whilst we are losing more tickets/getting our mcoms destroyed. All it'd require on normal mode is a quick push of the select button and bob's your uncle. And about the sniping thing, when I tried out hardcore I'd reguarly get into games where more than half my team were sniping. I trust that your squad doesn't do this but not everyone is in an organised clan, most of the time it's just a random noob who wants to get a high K/D at the expense of his W/L. |

| I personally prefer Standard mode, as Hardcore feels like a downgrade. I understand why you guys like it, but it takes away too much SUCH AS(Yes Pig, this is somewhat of a repost):
Motion Mines - No dots, just noise. Pretty much the equivalent of enemies capturing the point, except you have to throw it.
Medkits/Defibrillators - Players have half the health that they do in Standard meaning A.)There's less to heal and B.) They usually die before you can even throw them the meds. Defibs no longer have the icon over dead bodies either, so you get to go on a big fun scavenger hunt under enemy fire.
Vehicles - Didn't get nerfed at all as far as I know. Pretty stupid. Now engineers get to take them down with half health all the time.
Spotting - A unique feature of BC 2 that I love, that promotes teamwork and allows you to assist the team, even when you can't actually kill the guy. In Hardcore you just yell "ENEMIES!!" or something. HELPFUL. And for the record, spotting is no replacement for communication. If you spot an enemy, you should still call out his general location.
All these great features nerfed or rendered obsolete and all for what? Easier kills and one hit sniper rifles. Oh yeah, every hardcore game I've ever joined (Roughly seven or eight) my entire squad consisted of sniping bush wookies.
So no, the Call of Duty argument wasn't far off. Less teamwork, easier kills and more snipers. And if you use good teamwork, that's fine but it doesn't change the fact that the rest of the online community is a bunch of Dick-Butts. |

it has drop you have to account for. and even with extra power MGNM ammo on you don't always 1 shot anybody, you must be pretty precise. you have to lead people running. i hate hardcore because you lose your sights. |

| I stay on regular because everyone tends to stick to sniper rifles for their one hit kills. It gets worse when your team is losing and half your team changes to the recon class so they can camp and get some "easy" kills. |

| Ghost, do you mean when you hip-fire, you lose the crosshairs right?
And I used to play hardcore when I first started out, but now I hate it for too many reasons to list. (I'm not flaming those who play it, the game mode just doesn't suit me) |

I went through a phase of asking people when the sniping model was going to include the coriolis effect. It was one of my most subtle trolls and I'm still fond of it. |

Love it. I still occasionally go recon on normal core, and I fucking own. Last time I did, about two days ago, I got 18 marksmen shots. One with a flying blackhawk (+100 marksmen) and then a jetski (+150 marksmen), my max that day was +300 marksmen. And then some other headshots, and had a fun duel with a .50cal enemy guy. I had respect for him. But anymore I own with the medic on normal so I stick to that. |

But anymore I own with the medic on normal so I stick to that. Not to go off topic but despite having a generalized hatred for sniping recons, you sound like a Bush Wookie I wouldn't mind. My beef's with the ones that use the Marksman Bonus as a crutch and hit their glorious 4th place with 5 kills and a couple kill assists and call it "Covering Fire". Hence why I dislike Hardcore. The recon literally loses all (team) worth beyond the sniper rifles in Hardcore and that sucks. No credit to team. Just credit to personal placement on the scoreboard. |
