| I saw Ferddy's post and decided to make my own from my experiences. However I'm only going to review games.
Contents: 1.PC shooters 2.Console shooters 3. MMORPGs 4.RPGs
1. PC Shooters
Battlefield 2- My favorite PC shooter. The weapons are well thought out and the more powerful ones require some skill to get since they must be unlocked by ranking up. I like that there are vehicles and that they aren't overpowered since there are many ways to take them out. EA actually had a moment where they weren't greedy and gave every player the Armored fury and Euro Force expansion packs for free with their massive 1.5 patch.
Battlefield Heroes- It's a fun little time waster and I played it for a while. I would go so far as to say I loved the game until that fateful day when VP prices were raised by exactly 2100% (I did the math). EA got greedy and that ruined the game for me.
Combat Arms- Not my favorite game by any means. Nexon is usually greedy and that's true for this game too. Unlike Battlefield Heroes the prices to rent guns started high and remained there. You want a decent gun for keeps you'd better go spend some cash for it. However what I do like about the game is what's called fireteam mode. Basically you and 7 other players can form together on one team and fight the AI terrorists in a set mission.
Gunz- I did play this a bit and it wasn't really my type of game. Basically it's a fast paced fps that's pretty unrealistic. You can run on walls and cielings while holding two deringers and shooting everything in sight. It may say gunz as the title but almost everyone in the game would rather fight with a katana or some other type of blade. I don't recommend it.
2. Console Shooters (note: I only have an xbox 360 so that's what I'll be reviewing for)
Halo 3- One of the BEST fps ever. It's graphics were amazing at the time and still are decent if you ask me. The weapons are interesting and balanced. What I like is that you have a shield, what that means is that if you're shot up, you can still recover to health without a medic or a health pack, you just need to take cover for a while. The campaign is good too, with character development a solid plot line and quite a few shocking moments. Enemies are pure genius and they all have their weakness if you can find it. It well be immortal in gaming history if I'm the judge.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2- I have to say I'm not impressed with this game. It's just my opinion. It has some cool weapons like throwing knives and stuff but I really don't like this game at all... My main problem is that it's supposed to be realistic in the fact that you're not made of steel. But it doesn't focus on you taking cover and so you die in two shots before you can raise your gun to retaliate. Not a fan of the perk system and upgrading guns is a bit cool...I guess...My favorite thing about it is Special ops which are missions that you can do solo or with friends and you do some cool stuff like have a man on the ground in the dark and another circling him in a "spectre" AC130 gunship raining hell on his enemies.
Gears of War 2- another great game if you ask me. Good storyline and really cool weapons (can't beat a chainsaw on an assault rifle). It's like the box says it is, kinda like a movie. You can be creative with killing enemies, like stomping on his head or picking him up and using him as a meat shield. It focuses on taking cover which i like since it seems more realistic than dying in two hits.
Halo: ODST- Not as good as Halo 3 because this time you do have health and need to watch it since it won't recover. Not many vehicles this time but it's pretty cool. They added a thing called VISR, which you'll need since it's dark (VISR enhances light and highlights enemies, ammo, obstacles, team mates, ect.). A good game and comes with the complete Halo 3 multiplayer disk.
3. MMORPGs Only ones that I've played extensively for over two years)
Runescape- My first MMORPG it'll always have a place up there. It's also the worlds most played MMORPG. You can do a lot of stuff but the main complaint is that the graphics are lacking severely. It's quests are extremely cool since they're not the generic "kill X of X" or "Gather X of X".
Mabinogi- Name may sound strange but means "keltic mythology" roughly. It's an extremely advanced game. It's by Nexon but it's the best MMORPG I've ever played in my life. You can do anything in it basically, you could be a miner, smith, knight, mage, archer, alchemist, weaver, tailor, potion maker, herbalist or any combination. There's no classes and no level cap. It used to be impossible to get good but then Nexon gave you as many free "rebirths" as you want, these basically reset your level and age (you get older and more skilled every year in it (1 year= 1 week real time). I'd recommend this to everybody.
RPGs
Morrowind- Part of the Elder Scrolls series, it's pretty good but the graphics are a bit lacking and the landscape could be described as barren. It's main drawback is no mission compass or marks on your map, you have to follow (very poor) instructions from your journal. And enemies have set levels so even if you're level 2 they may be level 30 which makes things harder. You can make a custom class if you want.
Oblivion- The next in the Elder Scrolls series. Improved if you ask me, simplified but improved. Awesome graphics and a great storyline set in the beautiful land of Tamriel and into the depressing reaches of Oblivion. Great storyline and leveling system. Many quests and characters. You can make a custom class if you want.
Assassin's Creed- Not really an RPG but a sandbox style adventure. By sandboxstyle I mean you aren't restricted to your objective usually, you can wonder off and do other stuff. Another great storyline (really shocking). It may not fit everyones play styles since it's mostly about stealth, escapes, and quickly adapting to changing situations. I love this game |

| Failscape. For all I'm concerned. I've been playing the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, like Oblivion, Fallout 3 and awesome rolled into one. And I love both of those games. At least for RPG type of games. |

| I see RPGs are winning the poll . And incase you were wondering why bf2 and bfh weren't up there it's because I wanted to know your favorties besides them. |

Anyway, mabye others will follow in your footsteps as well and make their own. |
