When ever i play bad company 2 its always really laggy and i dont know why but i dont know i will enjoy the game much more if it didnt lag, i dont know much about computers so i dont really know what to do i got a windows 7 laptop if that helps. Ive tried deleting stuff off my computer to free up some memory and i play on european servers (cause im birtish) but its not working, please can sombody help me

Yea yea they can't update anything because there trying to do some stuff first. Its like that for most people of the forums.

And from the drop down box select Battlefield: Bad Company 2, then click "Can you run it?" and you will need to download something, nothing really.

Make sure you could actually run the game.

If you can run the game, a few things locally could be influencing your ping and generating lag. Luckily these are things you can control. Otherwise the problem is with your Internet Service Provider (so you could switch) or with EA's servers, in which case you're screwed.

Are you awesome at setting up your home network and/or would you like some friendly advice ?

I notice btw that you're in South West England, are you out in the countryside or in a City ?

it's the game servers. it's affecting everyone.
