| Okay guys I am having some problems with the sniper. Im kinda embarssed to ask this becuase I have passed marksmanship traning hahaha. But any one have some good sniper spots or tips. What is you personal favorite sniper. Do you even like the Recon Kit? Tell me all you know about sniping. I am currently trying to get a 500 marksman headshot. Does anyone know a good sniper to do that with?
Thanks Guys-PFC.Relentless97 |

| Okay the dots on your scope each have 1 meter between them. So when your target is running you'll have to have determine how many meters ahead of him you need to shoot. Now for standing targets it's a little different. You'll have to use the 12x scope or the one you automatically get with the sniper rifle depending on how far away you are! For getting a successful one shot kill on a target make sure to go crouched, find some good cover, preferably some bushes, when your lining up on your target remember that you must aim above his head a certain amount of dots to account for the bullet drop. There is no really way of determining how many dots up you need to aim. You basically have to go with your gut but I can tell you if he's over 400 yards away or more you'll at least have to aim 4 to 5 dots over him |

| I dn't play bc2 but my experience with sniping in any game is that it just takes practice and after you do it a bit, you'll know how far to head them and how to account for bullet drop. I'm not sure if the M95 is the same in bc2 as it is in bf2 but if it is, there should be little to no bullet drop all the way out to around 300 yards. Don't be afraid to try things out though, you're far enough away (hopefully) that they either won't be able to find you, won't be able to hit you, or just don't want to bother. Snipers are allowed to make more mistakes than anyone as long as that mistake isn't camo |

| Best map for sniping? - Arica Harbour Best sniper for it? - GOL/SV98 M95 has been nerfed now I believe, skill will come with time, just stick at it. Personally I prefer using sniper rifles with red dot sights, but I'm just crazy Get used to each rifles' characteristics, and you'll begin to improve. |

| Don't use a sniper rifle. Use a M14, or shotguns. In order to help your entire team, you need to stick around an assault to throw out those motion mines. |

| Snipers are helpful, as long as they keep the mortars and motion mines coming. I can't tell you how many times I've had a useless Recon on my team, just taking potshots at random enemies. |

| Believe it or not, the M24 is pretty damn good, even better with Magnum.
It's really just practice, you have to keep trying to engage. So find some good cover, and get used to your gun, whatever one you choose and like. |

Completely agree with this, you mow people down using GOL on Arica, especially with Hardcore (Rush Mode is the one i use most to get my GOL kills) |

| It requires patience and practice, snipers generally have a higher k/d ratio but unforuntately this is only after taking a bip dip during the learning process.
Get to africa harbour, get on recon hill if you are defending, or if you are attacking there is a hill with scrub to the right of your spawn/where the UAV is.
500+ headshots are rare. I have done only one that I can remember, and it will take you too long to do if you are looking to do it, just relax and enjoy sniping from distance, and the headshot will come eventually. |

| yep, only certain maps are the best for sniping. even on rush, sniping at the start is usually the best, then switch to a closer combat setup. my k/d ratio sniping ranges from 3 - 6 on average per round. i've got the m95 pretty much down to an art. sniping is always best in hardcore as nobody can see your position on their kill cam. just remember, there will be tons of snipers in hardcore. |

| And I forgot to mention this, the most important thing to master first isn't shooting, it's camoflauge and stalking, if they can't find you, they can't shoot you. If they don't shoot you, you don't die, and that's good for you. |

| Ditto. I believe it's called "sniper concealment." In BC1 there was no "kill cam" so a good sniper was a thing of beauty taking out many many opponents.
I was sad to see that BC2 had followed MW2's idea and put in the kill cam. Takes a bit of the realism of combat out of the game knowing that you have to shoot then relocate after almost every shot. |
