Any tips to increase k/d ratio?
I know this clan does not care for the numbers, but id just like to improve my scores. it's very frustrating whenever im in a huge losing streak. my curent k/d is 0.64. sucks, right?

I have no real tips for this.. my K/D is just good naturally, I guess. Well, last time I checked.

My K/D initially was below 1.75 before getting weapon sights. Then with the advent of the MAGN AM... I just started raping. Perhaps when you get those specializations, I'd be careful if I were you because you may accidentally impregnate women with your blazingly killer skills.

IMHO, you're K/D will improve from playing with [13] members.

I played up to rank 25 before I joined [13]. My K/D suffered because I went for objectives in order to win games. My K/D was around .50 and my W/L around 1.20.

Since then I have brought my K/D up to .80 and W/L up to 1.60, but I have alot of low K/D momentum to overcome.

Honestly, I don't care about K/D and it's too easy to cheat at the W/L ratio by quitting a losing game to avoid the loss.

If I were you, I would switch to unlocking the Medic up the M60 and not worry about massaging your K/D..

i know it's kinda shallow but i find it kinda satisfying if my k/d is a higher number, but i respect that you don't care about you k/d

As a general rule, recon yields a higher k/d ratio-but only if you play it right!

Wolf... I firmly believe we should all play to have fun, so please understand I would never be critical of how you or any other [13] member likes to play a soldier class or which soldier class.

I'm sure you agree there is a point at which a [13] member relinquishes his individuality and plays according to team/squad objectives and tactics. It is at this point I expect my squad members to follow tactical command instructions given by me or any other acting team/squad/fire team leader. These instructions will often include what soldier class and kit to employ.

Regarding the effectiveness of ReCon in various roles... IMHO the argument is not unlike that which could be made against UAV + C4 tactics. In the time it takes to deploy and execute a stealthy ReCon or vehicle exploit, a fast moving squad may have already armed and possibly taken down both MComs. But there are times when the direct approach is well defended and alternative tactics are needed. So proficiency at alternative tactics is critical.

One of these nights we must experiment playing as a full team of ReCons. We call a full team of Medics "The Zombie Squad". What would we call a full team of ReCons?

I can tell you how to help improve your Kill/Death Ratio:

Get in-game with the following squads:

Apaches
Commanches
Seminoles
Hunters

lol, all joking aside....check out: www.battlefieldbadass.com they have some good tips and strategies. But working with a good squad, using great communications, proper load-outs for the mission...are all excellent ways to help improve without sitting on hill somewhere shooting tangos with a sniper rifle.

k/d's going up slowly. improving while playing squad deathmatch on isla innocent:P

IMHO I think that SPM is much more important that K/D.

A person with a high K/D and a low SPM usually means they just sit back, pop out and get a kill, and then sit back again. (Mostly recon COD snipers lol)

A person with a high SPM and a low K/D is usually rushing to objectives all the time, rushing to help their squad all the time, and is me. Hahaha.

I personally love the people with the perfect mixture of the two. Which is pretty much every high ranking member of 13 >>

Well said...a great example is Spiralus. Go look up his stats. Even with him not being very active lately, his stats are impressive with all the squad play it shows!

Heh, i helped, although the running away when seeing a tank and shouting "in the tree" when we saw a sniper didnt really help :p
