Attacking Laguna Alta B is tough. I'm wondering if you can blast the MCOM with C4 from the back side of the fence?

You do have to be a little more resourceful and self reliant defending. It is a great squad training exercise.

Laguna Alta is my favorite map on Squad Rush, the environment is pleasing. You can damage the MCOM from the back side of the fence actually, as long as the C4 is close enough to the MCOM for the blast radius to hit.

Excellent question to be honest. I should of let you all know something actually. While attacking on Port Valdez Squad Rush, you can throw the C4 on the middle of the back wall while outside and behind the Bravo objective; it'll damage Bravo but not blow the section of the wall down. Doing so will automatically kill everyone inside the building while leaving them confused, and of course damage the objective. Enough C4 at once is an instant kill. It's a quick way to take down Bravo covert style.

I read in the Apaches thread that my SA (Legendary Wingz) was looking forward for some Apaches to come online and do a few practice runs.

I created a squad that me, wingz, and legend were part of for the first hour and a half. We played Squad Rush on Hardcore to practice and train ourselves to work strong as a squad. Hardcore was our decision to emphasize more on communication. Squad work and communication was great, we dominated in practically every game played.

About an hour and a half in Superxsniipesx joined in and we decided to switch from Squad Rush to Hardcore Rush. I am amazed at how well we worked as a team, it was completely phenomenal. Are first match was Valparaiso on defense, we executed great teamwork and won without any problems. Once we switched to attackers things just got ridiculous, in a good way. All 4 of us beat our personal records for succeeding on the map. We effectively took control of each base within the first minute of it standing. Every MCOM station was destroyed by our squad. Every element that determines how effective a team can work together was excellent, hands down. The whole map was taken over and we were victorious within the first 10 minutes of starting the match.

Unfortunately after that I had to leave, but the 2 hours I was present was more then worth my time.

It was great playing with all of you! Hope to play with each of you again soon.

I think he wanted to be back in after he left. Something along the lines of, "School isn't going to be as hard as I thought, so I'll have more time for video games."

Anyone else tried playing this morning? I got kicked out of games to either the BC2 lobby or BC2 quit to the XBOB console. After the 4th drop I gave up.

Notes:

Started off with Vic joining into one my Squad Rush games around 8:30, soon after Axx and Gurglatron joined. All elements that determine excellent teamwork were right on par. We set personal new records for ourselves on individual Squad Rush maps.

I timed our games on Atacama Desert and Laguana Presa. We completed Atacama in 1 minute and 51 seconds, and completed Presa in 1 minute and 46 seconds. Are strategy for attacking was rushing ASAP and blowing down the objectives as quickly as we could with C4. We were already sprinting towards Bravo before it was even open, perfectly making it through the out of bounds timer.

I sent Gurglatron the website URL as well as some information that will help him join our ranks. I am hoping I have recruited him successfully as he was a good team player.

Very nice game runs today, quite impressive.

Looking forward to getting back on and playing again later tonight.

techno, i like your practice reports, but you should include everyone and not just battalion 1. i know there were more players than that. least when i logged in.

I would like to add Sambi and B4NNY played with me later and we rocked rush style. Very good guys.

I think you're thinking of last night, this was tis'morning. I didn't put up a practice report from last night because when I left more people joined in, so I wasn't aware who everyone would be.

All the people that were present tis'morning are in that practice report.

I suppose I will change the 1st battalion in that report though, and just put the division.

Over all it was a great practice night in lieu of how bad recent practice nights have been. Special thanks to Ghostbeer for draggin in some friends as [13] members came and went.

Before practice started, DTiger and I also had a good chat with Tech about trying to work with Banshees Squad members who still want to play BC2 from time to time. We will work together to try to not only improve attendance at the Banshees practices but encourage some of the Banshee squad to visit/play with us "die hard' BC2 players. Hopefully we will have a public announcement very soon addressing the plan.

I think I got everybody listed for their attendance. If I left you out, please post and I will make the correction.

We had a few games where the tables were turned. It's interesting how quickly we can go from Fabulous to Funky.

That would be un-[13] like. We crank the awesome dial, but still play fair.
and its true. I had to leave after getting raped repeatedly. My night started out well, but just like poker, you gotta quit when you're ahead.

it was great. Lots of communication all I could do is hear cause I didn't have vip maps ( now I do) but if anyones on tonight I'll be on majority of it so ...see you in the fight =)
