Well look at it from this. There is no way that this will hurt the clan. Even if you think this is unnessary (which it is) but it is fun and it could get us some other members. That is just my point of view from it.

hmmm... I think it's a good idea so long as it's worded properly, and is spell checked.... Because it is another way of branching out.
