Basically, we never got around to the specifics of how to execute the play date. All ideas are welcome and now is the time to express your ideas. If you have play date experience, by all means share your experience.

I have never participated in a play date. However, I thought we might treat it like one of our practices, where we build squads with 2-3 [13] members and 1-2 guest members. It would be great if we were able to build an entire team with [13] members and guests and battle randoms, but that would be the luck of the draw, right?

If we end up having enough [13] members and guests, we could start with a private matches and perhaps use the more relaxed environment of a private match to share tactics and discuss benefits of being a [13] clan member. At some point, we would go off and fight live battles, just like we do after a practice match.

Regarding the sharing of [13] information, I am hoping all guests have a mic. Perhaps I should add having a mic as a requirement when I ask XBOX LIVE to make final adjustments to the play date [13] player list.

Lastly... I have no idea how long the play date should go. I figure I will play until midnight or so.

I just spoke with FUN by email. Although work has kept him from being online or in the game, he is committed to attending the play date. He and I will work together to correct the XBOX Play Date link, so keep those commitments coming.

Fun also said he hopes to make some practice sessions before the play date. We should plan to discuss the play date during the next few practice sessions to work out our final strategy for the event.

We will also continue to add names of the friend requests we have received so far and post them in the play date Roll Call, so we know who the invited guests will be. We may very well receive more friend requests as we get closer to the play date.
