GAH! braces...

OH GAWD got mah braces today. Sad

Any body else that has them? Any experienced ppl mind telling me if they hurt coz i aint feeling anything yet Very Happy

Did you get metal or the plastic clear braces?
Metal braces hurt once they keep on tightening them. (I had them, And my brother and sister are going through them now)
And my cousin's have the plastic clear braces (Well, HAD them), And they said they don't hurt one bit Smile

I had the lastic one that came off (only wore it at night) Now i got the metal one and its starting to hurt when i touch my teeth Sad

That sucks mate.
Don't worry, The pain will get better.
And you will become more immune to it.
My brother and sister have had theirs for about... 2-3 months now. And it doesn't hurt them anymore Smile

Yeah, you will get use to it, I had braces for awhile.

I'm probably getting them this summer... nearly everyone in my class has them and they say it only hurts for the first few days and after they're tightened. They say it's not bad and the best advice is to eat and drink cold stuff to numb it. I'm not looking forward to them either though Sad

Yes, they are right. And I recommend you not to eat with the fresh new braces.
Get a soup or a cold coke.

I had to take a pill for the pain :/ But its ok now. But every time i touch any of my teeth it hurts like hell

i got braces, got them back in november. the whole week and a half after i got them was bad, my teeth hurt like hell and i couldn't eat. which i love too do. It will all get better though, mine don't hurt. Oh, and if they hurt when you touch them. Try not too touch them anymore. Don't chew ice, trust me i know. lmao, But good luck with them.
