Recruiting is the lifeblood of our clan. Without it, we cannot function properly. It is essential that we utilize our recruiting threads to not only show how active we are as a clan, but to also showcase our experiences and attract even more members.

Recruiting rules are canceled September 24th. There are no requirements and it is not a rule to help recruit. It is not mandatory. We still do ask that you help recruit, but it is now optional. Below are some useful tips and hints to help you recruit. TIPS AND TRICKS for "RECRUITING" Abbreviations First, some abbreviations used in the 13th. This isn't exactly specific to recruiting but they're good to know anyway. CO = Commanding Officer, Mjr. projekt3000 CoC = Chain of Command, the authority of the 13th MEU, influence varies depending on rank, lowliest is SA SL = Squad Leader, leads the squad, currently SSgt. Insevin SA = Squad Assistant, subordinate to SL, helps lead the squad, none currently active SS= Squad Staff, officially this refers only to the SL and SA, but may include the CO when the CO is otherwise not mentioned SM = Squad Member, basic members of the 13th Non-Member/Guest = Person that is currently NOT a member of an active squad of the 13th MEU GCE = Ground Combat Element, the main fighting force of the 13th, GCE includes all squads ACE = Air Combat Element, the pro competitive faction of the 13th, you still remain a member of your original squad, even while ACE RECRUITMENT Details Questions Direct questions and comments to Insevin. Bump more than once within 16-24 hours. Rewards Helping our clan, division, and squad. One top recruiting performer during each period will be awarded one of the below $$ gifts from Insevin on the 1st of each month effective now. Rewards can be refused if no participation (bumping) is considered top-notch enough to deserve it. Rewards below are replenishable. CANCELED no rewards Simple Right? This is an easy weekly task and you can be rewarded if you work hard! This is not required but really helps the 13th! This is not meant to be mean or a pain in the ***. But the best thing we can do as a clan is grow so help us do that!

HOW TO BUMP THREADS

Bump: Posting on a forum topic/thread to make it appear at the top of the page so more people will see it and be aware that it is recent and relevant material.

Do it however you like. 1-2 sentences minimum, but as much as a few paragraphs works too. This is totally optional but images or videos such as our clan patch, logo, game screenshots, gameplay, etc are awesome as well.

For posting a link to the 13th MEU some of you will want to simply use the clan site URL. But a good alternative is my www.go13th.com site that walks visitors through how to join us, step by step until their application is posted. Using it is up to you!

Be appropriate and be respectful, and do not exaggerate about our size or accomplishments. Also be warned that excessive bumping may be against the rules and will be frowned on by SL Insevin. Do not be bumping a topic more than once inside of 16-24 hours, unless you are responding to questions or criticism.

I ENCOURAGE you to create your own posts in your own words. Mix it up!

If we just bump the threads at least once a day it'll show that we have dedicated members and could attract more people. Not saying everyone should do of everyday but check in every few days to keep up

Bumped the Modern Warefare 3 Forums, im having issues with some of the other ones lol. Ill try and get to those later on. Figured it would help a little though.

Yeah, that's been happening to several people unfortunately. I don't know why some sites don't work for some people. It's not a browser thing.

I finally got Official COD site to work...when I went to login one day it asked me to select a community name so that was the problem.

Hey guys, I know our main recruitment is the forums and us bumping them but why don't we use COD Elite? My squad group and clan group attracted 2 recruits already. I suggest we join groups and post about the 13th in their comments. For example I post on these groups?
Canada
Toronto
Egypt
Kuwait

I posted on these groups and I will post on more, I believe we can easily recruit members this way.

Attention ALL COD divisions!

We really need to be making sure we're bumping these threads CONSTANTLY. With Christmas over many more people have MW3 now and we need to keep getting our name out there.

Lets make a big push here and good impression for the start of the new year!

I created this site with all the stuff needed for a new prospect to sign up with the 13th. See if you like it and if you do please post in up in your Xbox profile! If nothing else, everyone should at LEAST put the official 13th web address into their Xbox profile!

All 5 groups I track on COD elite have comments that I posted to support the clan. I do it once/twice a week. I will try to get the websites bumped as well and inform my squad.

Can you only make posts on Elite from a computer? When I use my comp, Elite seems to lag alot, and not want to fully operate for me.
