| I've always been curious. Are some people naturally good at typing, or did we all have to train ourselves some first? I definitely had to, starting at the age of 3 or 4 when my cousins introduced me to CS. Even then, I typed at the speed of a snail because all I knew how to use on the keyboard was the vertical row of 5, T, G and B to the left (all i needed to play shooter games ^^). Later on, when I started playing some Starcraft and Warcraft III, where hotkeys may be all around your keyboard, and chatting with opponents was somewhat common, I started learning to type faster. And then MSN came, forcing me to go even faster. And then when I was 7, I started playing MMO games. In those games, you had to talk to other people alot, especially when coordinating without VoIP (hey, i was only like, 7 ). That was really the drive that forced my typing speed to increase quickly. Currently, I type without adhering to that many "rules" of typing, since I didn't really learn by any specified method (aka. in school). Depending on what I'm typing (eg. copying something from paper vs thinking of something by myself), my regular speeds range from 80-110 wpm. So how did you guys learn to type, and how fast are you capable of doing so? Typing test here. (Use the "Test Instructions" test if you want the easiest, most accurate and probably the most practical.)

| I'm very interested in this subject. I try to improve my typing speed constantly, to what end I may not have the pleasure to know. I'm a firm believer that if you have good typing skills, you can be a great at the skills needed on shooter games on the PC, or possibly any game on the PC. I took about 4 classes for typing years ago--first one I didn't learn really but I gained wpm somehow (wpm ~ 45), 2nd I actually learned the homerows and how to type (wpm ~ 60-70), 3rd I typed even faster (wpm ~ 80-100), and 4th I typed a little faster (90-115) I never really got a chance to learn (and practice really) typing numbers and symbols on the keyboard so that is my weak link when it comes to typing speeds and tests. I use that link you brought up quack but I think this site is pretty cool as well: www.typeracer.com (I'm "Ryan (thebronxbomber)" for one of the latest high scorers at 124 wpm--just opened up the site and tried it hehe) On that site you can "race" others by typing a paragraph or so--its pretty cool. |

:O How the flying F***!? Good with my fingers he has had a lot of practice using his fingers to masturbate There's two meanings to that. 1) You're implying he is female and thus uses fingers 2) You use your fingers because your penis is so small that a hand would be hideously big and would just engulf the whole thing so that you lost it. |

Not bad Btw the poll is not for your fastest wpm but for what you average or get mostly or can do consistently |
