AMD graphics cards will be the only cards with release-ready drivers for all games running under Frostbite 3.  However, while Nvidia cards will of course be supported, they won't be fully optimized until post launch.  This move, along with the fact that AMD supplies all graphics cards for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gives them a substantial position in the market.

This is nice, since NVidia has been on top for quite a while now. Nice to see a change.

What a disaster.

Wow, hold the phone here... a new update says that this original post does NOT apply to anything.  Instead, AMD is simply working with DICE and EA to get the BF4 drivers out day one.  This deal is NOT exclusive and Nvidia won't be left out to release a driver post launch.

So, at the end of the day, no matter what is in your PC as long as it isn't a potato, you're going to have support for BF4 on day 1.
