Games Released This Month-March

Firstly, I'd just like to introduce this news item to everyone, as it will be a new venture. Basically, for every month, there will be an article about games that are being released in that month. I won't list every game being released, only the games that most people will be excited about. Having said that, if there are any games you want to feature, just send me a PM about it and I'll do my best to get it in for the next month. Anyway, without further ado:


Bohemia Interactive have announced that the ARMA 3 Alpha will go public on Tuesday March 5th. All are welcome to try out the authentic military gameplay and assist in the game’s development by participating in the Arma 3 Alpha. The Alpha will feature a limited amount of playable and sandbox content, receive regular updates and remain accessible until Arma 3’s Beta starts – which is expected in the second quarter of this year. The full and final version of Arma 3 is scheduled for release in Q3 2013.

Featured in the Arma 3 Alpha are four showcase missions (Infantry, Vehicles, SCUBA and Helicopter), a limited subset of weapons and vehicles, two multiplayer scenarios, the powerful scenario editor and modding support. The 20 km² island of Stratis, which is positioned right off the coast from Arma 3’s main destination ‘Altis’ (270 km²), will form the backdrop of the Arma 3 Alpha.

Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond -- one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins, and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with what IGN called “Emotional ties (that) will continue to set the bar in gaming.” Due for release March 26th.

You forgot call of duty 10 : Modern Warfare 4

that doesn't get released this month, COD maybe this year lol. Ofcourse we also have Endgame for battlefield 3 this month. Not to mention Starcraft 2: Heart of the swarm for the competitive RTS players. Sniper Ghost warrior 2 is also coming out to entertain the more accurate players among us. from what I've heard it's better then it's predecessor. New tomb raider game. and a whole bunch of other games

Oh, if you were interested in CoH2, you may have heard already, but that game was delayed until June 25 (announcement came March 6).
