| Yes, recruit! Recruit! Recruit! http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654348367203612/2/I cannot say this enough....Please don't just post there once, post there periodically so it doesn't seem as if I made you all post there Also, if you guys want to provide a link to the site, I think you will need to place a "http://" in front of the link (pretty sure of this) so anyone can click on it. Thanks |

| http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654348367203612/3/Please help recruit everybody...it seems like the only guys that have posted more than once and post regularly are myself, deathdealer, totalwarrior, and awulle....guess which units are the most active as well...? Also, there are always a few "Looking for clan" topics on the first few pages of the Recruitment forum, try posting in there or if you're like deathdealer, you could actually add them and talk with them. |

| Thank you to all who have posted. Really I just want to get to a point where the majority of the clan (or at least of the clan on this particular game) posts regularly, frequently, and habitually on these forums without constant reminding (i.e. this).
Also, if you tick the "Share to Battle Feed" box at the bottom of the post before you actually click "Post" (or "Preview") it will be shared on your Battle Feed (obviously) and well this will help remind others to post on the topic as well. This is how I got to the recruitment topic before. |

| I try to post when I can, but sometimes forget. Usually when I see others posts shared on battlefeed that's a small reminder to keep the post bumped so we can hopefully gain more active members. |

| You don't necessarily have to click that check box before posting, you can still share your post after you've already posted by clicking the "Share to Battlefeed" button at the top right of your post. |

Same thing happens to me. Sharing a post on your battle feed will help remind others to post. And yes you can share it at any time, even the same post I think after a period of time has gone by (if you wanted to share an important post or something). Also...when you guys give out links or type the site's URL on a post....include "http://" before it so that way it'll make it a hyperlink and well--easier access to the site and the more likely a person will come visit our site. |

| It's always good to share the posts when you actually make one. I try to remember to do it when I make a post.
I also do a lot of my recruiting during the week when I play because the weekends are for practices. I also try to make sure that each person I bring in is a legit player. We should actually start thinking about possibly raising the age limit again to gain more mature players, and also doing background checks of players so we can ensure we are recruiting legit players instead of players who have been caught hacking or using game hacks. It's always bad when you have to remove a player from a clan for hacking or cheating purposes, so it's best not to recruit them all together. It will take a bit to actually review each application, but it will be better in the long run. I will even provide my experience and time in to reviewing the players. |

| There are lots of reasons to be against an age rise. And background checks are hard |

| tbh Deathdealer, there shouldn't be any reason towards an age rise. This would ensure that we are able to recruit mature members only, instead of some who are young and can act immature at times.
Also, background checks are not hard at all. I've already checked out quite a few people that I was trying to possibly recruit, and have already found a couple within the clan itself who have been caught hacking and been banned by punkbuster. This is not hard at all, and should be done before allowing someone to join a clan. As long as you do the proper background check and get all the information needed to do that background check, it can be done within an hour or so. So please explain to me how that is so hard to do. |

| Shouldn't be any reason towards an age rise? Did you mean to say against?
Age isn't a guarantee of maturity, we've had older immature people, and many mature people who have joined age 15 and under (Myself, NinjaPenguin, Viking, Totalwarrior etc. etc.)
And background checks are no guarantee that they won't start cheating/whatever, I'm not saying there shouldn't be any, but any kind of long check is also a bit unfair, there should be a certain degree of trust, as the majority of gamers are legit. Also on previous hacking history, until you actually know the situation of what happened, occasionally there may be a legitimate explanation/reason to/for it |

| me saying "there shouldn't be any reason towards an age rise" basically means how it is said.
If you'd like me to add more to it so you can understand it better. There shouldn't be any reasons towards "being against" an age rise. Whether you deem yourself, or any others you listed, as being mature, this does not mean that future recruitees will be mature also. The time we end up finding out that a person is immature tends to be after they have already been accepted into the clan. I don't know for a fact whether any of the people you listed are actually mature because I have never played with any of you in any games. All I can do right now is take your word for it.
No, background checks won't tell you whether or not a person will start using a cheat/hack, but it will ensure that we do not recruit people into the clan who already have used a cheat/hack. Typically if someone is caught cheating or hacking, they know they've done it and don't bother to look into it further or explain themselves. Instead, they end up buying/pirating a new key for the game they have been playing and just move forward. If you know for a fact that you weren't cheating/hacking and you were banned by PunkBuster, you can always appeal that ban and have it removed. There are several ways to find out if it was indeed the person who owned the account that was hacking. I know ways of doing this and it won't slip by me to figure out if it was them or not. Typically if your account was hacked, and it WAS NOT you that used such software to cheat/hack the game, then it will show. Usually the IP address being used at the time of gameplay is recorded, and that will give the exact truth. Simple as that.
Also, if someone was to cheat/hack in the future, we just have them removed from the clan all together as it is against 13th MEU policy to cheat/hack in any game we play. |

| Well TotalWarrior is now a Staff Officer and Ninja an SL. And correct, it's no guarantee of maturity, but being 15 is no guarantee of being immature. Anyway, I believe we are moving towards the trial thing that Bronx previously mentioned, so we will see for ourselves on maturity before accepting/not accepting them. And I know that it's against the rules, I have been here a long time EDIT: Also, all 3 recruitment topics could do with a bump (each platform), they're 2nd page I think |

Hehe that argument just shows how divided the country is but luckily Bilbo once again saved today (he is a true hero ) Just saw that age stuff and I personally don't think an age rise would be good. Increasing the limit reduces recruitment levels. I know/knew members in the clan who were under 16 who I would fight in matches etc anyday over other members eg there was a pc guy who I would have picked over this Xbox guy who was a lot older. Age doesn't mean maturity, When age limits rise you have to question yourself on whether or not we are just stereotyping younger people I joined when I was 14/15 (can't remember which). If the age limit had been higher I wouldn't have joined and bam that's a staff officer gone. Death wouldn't have been in bam falcons might not be where they are today.Infact I would say the warlords wouldn't even exist now because at one point it was only me and super shocks who were in the squad and we were both young but managed to keep it alive (Shocky more than me). Also I think people can change, if someone has hacked in the past then they might not hack again. I mean I could also say there have been times when I wanted older members kicked. Infact two times in the clan where someone has tried to damage/destroy clans was caused by over 21 year olds (one was 40+ I think) but they were less mature than an under 18. Wouldn't this suggest that age limits mean nothing. Besides I enjoy playing people with all ages. It would suck if it was just mature people. Sometimes you need some slightly immature people to spice up games and banter. Oh and Bilbo |
