Far Cry 3 comes out in a few days, snd I was just wondering if anyone else was excited about it. I know I am. I didn't play the other Far Crys, but my interest has definitely piqued my interest. Anyone else?

I'll probably get it for Christmas, I know Far Cry 2 was alot of fun it just needed multiplayer.

I honestly think no one should buy Far Cry 3 for the multiplayer but who knows, besides the map editor could be interesting.

yeah i heard the multiplayer was...sub-par. however the reviewer praised the single player.

FarCry 2 had MP, it was a joke. If the SP in FC3 is just as good as FC2. I'll be getting it!

Yea Co-Op would have made it a million times better! Hopefully FC3's co-op is good.

oh yeah I'm really looking forward to this one! graphics are astonishing! Really loved far cry 2 and far cry 1 also for a bit coop has it's own campaign so that will be interesting

I love the Franchise Far Cry 1 was the best game so far and it looks like they bring the feeling of far cry 1 back. So definitely gonna buy it

Hey guys is the original far cry any good by todays standards? Cuz if I pre purchase FC3 on steam I get that game free.

depends how you define "todays standards"? It's a pretty solid game and the story is awesome.

FC1 was pretty good. Ofcourse the graphics are quite dated as you could expect for a game 8 years old, but they where top-notch for their day, it looks better then BF1942, but slightly worse then counter strike source. You start out playing in what looks to be a giant open world, but it narrows down to corridor gameplay in the endgame, something the devs fixed in FC 2 and 3 The story is pretty good. Especially in the beginning but towards the end I feel it's a bit so-so ( I personaly don't like all that allien mutant stuff, in any game )

I started with farcry 2 and it was pretty awesome. Especially the weapons wear down with time, the timing you get malaria while in or after the battle finish, day-night cycle and especially using glider in the later part of the game. It has its flaws too, awkward spawning of enemies mostly behind you ends up costing u. Had a go at multiplayer but was not good.

If you are buying Farcry 3 for SP you will not be disappointed. The reveal in demo is just the tip of iceberg and it is pretty awesome fast paced kinda like COD . MP looks good too and one of its mode is like playing Rush mode in COD style. I have tried SP so far but MP is not working since every time I get disconnected. Otherwise totally worth it.

Great..... I cant even use my copy of FC3 because the cd key steam gave doesnt work and Ive even been banned from the dam U play for trying it too much.... This is why people pirate games....

hehe yeah, sorry to hear you can't even play I already finnished the single player lol. I bought it of the ubi web shop as digital download, NOT on uplay store, wanna know how they sent me my game?

K I fixed it. Someone at ubisoft had the epic idea of having to use dashes when entering the code. Yay for incompetence!
