ok I ordered a new custom build pc today, I was just wondering if it could run BF3 though.. here are the speccs.

850 watt coolermaster silent pro M850
4x 4096MB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333MHz
Bigtower NZXT Phantom black E-ATX
AMD HD6990 4096MB SAPPHIRE HD 6990
MB Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Sound Glan FW USB3.0 Sata 3
AMD AM3 Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition
1000GB Seagate Barracuda Green 5900 32MB
BD-Rom + DVD Brenner Samsung SH-B123L/BSBP bulk
61cm (24") TERRA 2450W Greenline Plus LED Monitor

I had to pay quite a bit of money for it though, I hope it can run on medium, or atleast low, does anybody know?

I'd guess that you can play on High or maybe Ultra.

you can play on ultra without probs, my friend with HD radeon 6550 can play on ultra also hes got Phenom II 4 core

A lot of mine friends have got some often problems with playing games, mostly - for crappy ATI drivers....

I got some friends with AMD cards, none have many problems with, besides, you'd hope AMD supports their Flagship graphics card pretty well ^^

I have a modified 6950 and I never have issues with games... if you read through expert forums you learn that both Nvidia and AMD have drivers issues, not just ATI (which is now AMD by the way)

agree endrane. The ATI and Nvidia fight is almost of just a name and color difference these days. Before, the big difference was that Nvidia was more of a plug and play video card and you can then install drivers if you wanted to. ATI normally always required installing drivers prior to putting the card in. Cards these days on both sides are a general plug n play and then install updated drivers.

The 6650m doesn't even meet the recommended requirements. My 460 is exponentially more powerful than the 6650m and it can only go on high at about 40 fps. The 6650m does 15 fps @ Ultra on BC2, and BF3 is a much more demanding game.
