I found this news story and started looking into it. I have not gone to the website for the White House it mentions in here but local news has said it now is up to 40 states. What you all think???

IMHO, why not just actually focus ion crap that can actuall ybe done. Impeachment comes to mind. The states should be looking into that route.

Oh were not running. Impeachment is impossible. Half of the brainwashed country will never allow it.

It is running, no matter how you look at it. Instead of standing up, and saying no the the regulations and crap, the states have wimped out, and want to turn their backs.

The way I see it, North Dakota would be pretty vital to a new country with all of its oil.

I like the petition they made that said if you sign to seceed, then you should be exiled. I find that petition as a recourse hilarious!

I find it funny but pathetic how people think like that. If my state were to suceed we would be the third most powerful nuclear nation, The best economy, GDP growth of 7.6 percent when the national average is 1.5, and one hell of an airforce considering the multiple large bases here.

Not to burst thy bubble, but the military is FEDERAL, unless it is a Guard type branch, than it is Federsl & State. Therefore, the Airbase wont matter, nor the nukes. No idea why people think like that.

dont take on me about this comment, im just looking this from the historical point of view, but i think this states will ever leave the USA, this is just Drama from certain people not happy with the current obama administration, but if he got re-elected, its because most of the country`s population, or at least 50%+1 agrees with him.


Also about this economical crisis, its affecting the whole world, countries with good presidents and bad presidents are getting affected by equal.


and just to make you reflect you guys, every Empire or great State when reachs its peak starts to fall down, its the law of everything.

You guys realize these signatures aren't so they actually secede right? lol all states made some stupid petition, anyone can. And almost anyone can vote for it. Its just so the white house has to address it.

With the MILLIONS of people in different states, you think a handful of thousand is gonna be enough to seperate? No.

On the matter though, yes this is just childish right wingers throwing a fit because obama got re-elected, oh well. As for treating the situation like you can't do anything about it, thats just being lazy. Saying I can't do anything in the first place, so forget bothering. I knew odds of a third party winning the election was slim, but I voted for it anyway.

For individual states economies? No, all your military equipment would be taken. On top of that soldiers swore an oath to "United States of America". As for nuclear weapons, they would be taken away, or if you kept they you would be consider a nuclear powered country and be attacked on day one.

Either way, stick together, put forth an effort, and do what you can. We live in a much different time then days of old. Empires would rise, and crumble due to invading forces. But now with nuclear weaponry, vast improved communications, it would be hard to see a powerful nation fall without bringing a lot down with it all over the world.

The way I see this is mainly a way of telling the government that there are a lot of us in the USA that are not happy with the way the government is going. I heard the best thing when I told my wife about this, and I quote "I Bet there are a lot of politicians that are sh*ting themselves right now!" This is a perfectly legal way to show our discuss with this government. Now only if it might changes things.
