Get teamspeak 3 while youre at it too Some mics are compatible with the PC; like if they are USB cord or something.
The B-17 is a monster! 3-seater bomber with a belly gunner and top gunner.
To me though I like the Naval warfare part of this; something that I haven't seen ever in an FPS
Also 64 player servers; would be awesome if we got that many people playing this! And please put [13th] before your name as part of your Player Name when you start the game.

Uncontrollable? They're fine, what do you expect from a prop plane? And this should be controller compatible, least I think so. Plug it in and see what happens xD

i have a poopy pc (6 years old) and i am able to run it with very little lag
and ninja, i got my ps3 controller set up just for planes now =)

so wat is it going to be called?
i played yesterday night and i was in a 6/64 player server just to get the hang of the game and it has pretty good physics and good graphics at the time. flying some of the planes were fun and a transport jeep was cool. can't wait to get into action!!!

It would only be activated when there's enough people. I'm not leaving it at 1942 24/7.
Currently myself and Bronx have the power to change the game on the server. I can add more COC if need be.

I can also change the game of the server ( the one that you are hosting ) but DICE told us there where some differences between the boxed 1942 version and the origin version. As such they cannot join the same servers ( but everyone can get the origin version for free anyway ). Are you sure clanforge caters to the origin version right now or the boxed version? I haven't seen to many custom servers yet.

It was horrible! Half the guns wouldn't make a sound when I would shoot, and I kept getting stuck on the boats by having them suck me in, then they would sink, and I'd be screwed, so I would try to swim, and i'd be killed by a plane dropping bombs on a boat in the distance. And if I got lucky, and was able to get into a landing craft, I would get to the beach... and then I couldn't get back out.
Next was the Berlin map. I would get killed by invisible people. I tried camping in a room, and I'd die. I'd be running, then I was flying like 100 feet vertical, only to die. It was pretty hectic. And the team-killers were pretty boring as well.
I like playing the AI though.

By god you are correct! They made it seem Manager+ could only change games and it's actually Advance+. So Sryan, Blakie, and Zeppy have power!
I don't know, about Box vs Origin but I will find out.
EDIT: Support says they just updated their 1942 servers so they'd have to be origin. I guess try and find out lol.

Took me a few days (when I played the demo) before I started getting used to it; didn't like it at first but it is definitely one of the coolest games alive atm lol. Naval ships, come on
Wikipedia says the retail version game version is:
Version Windows: 1.61b (December 2, 2004)
And if I remember correctly, in game it was 1.62 when I just played a few days ago (I can check and edit if its not)

Those whom have widescreen monitors, there is a tweak to enable widescreen resolutions, because EA was to lazy to update the game to support it.
Here is how: Go to Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\yourProfile and open the file Video.con in Notepad. Find and modify this line:

1980 and 1080 means your desired resolution. Save the file and make it read only.
If you want to edit field of view, then navigate back to Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings and open up VideoDefault.con. Edit this line:

This setting defaults to 1 for a standard 4:3 monitor. Change to suit your aspect ratio:
1.33333 for 16:9 1.25 for 15:9 1.2 for 16:10
