North Korea has fired artillery shells at a nearby South Korean Civilian Island. There was 4 confirmed deaths and many houses set ablaze. The bombing occurred on Nov. 23. Many houses were hit and set ablaze as smoke hit the town on the island. United States, as always is overreacting, and if any more aggressive acts are taken, South Korea probably will, not joking here, declare war. South Korea Council has declared RED ALERT. The highest non-wartime alert/rating. This is not a drill nor a joke. Fasten your seat-belts, we might be in for a ride.

wow , 50 years of conflict and ONU didnt made anything to solve this problem difinitely, that is why i lost hope on that "World Organization"

This is week old news, and so far it looks like nothings going to happen. I wouldn't freak. China is pressuring North Korea to back down, or risk losing them as allis. North Korea is crazy but they're also smart, they know a super power like the U.S. or Russia can't take on China so obviously they can't so it looks like nothing will come of this.

Yeah, this isn't what it seems like. What news station do you listen too?

But, I mean China could end in in their own power. The U.S. has moved in a Naval Fleet for security operations there.

It could spark a war but I'm not so sure it would exactly be "WWIII."

Wow, seems like the world just can't stay at peace. North and South Korea, the Middle East, WW1 and 2, Civil War, War of 1812, French and Indian War, Vietnam, and so many others. I really don't know what to say about it though because I don't know the politics behind most of it. I do know China was an incentive behind not going to war because they were trading allies. Seems like that didn't work out too good.

I know, it's pretty bad, lets just hope China's relations will at least slow down if not stop a war from occurring. Who wants a war? No one. People on youtube were already commenting like "Oh Sh*t, I'm in the Reserves. Just great."

It's been going on for ages north Korea sinking south Korean ships this is just another even to happen in the war between them

there is no reason for a country to enter war with north Korea after all it's not thier right to say to north Korea *stop violence or we will join the war*

if north Korea are being violennt then south korea should take action

As for the North / South Korea thing the North kicks off every year over Team Spirit and other joint exercises. Why is it important now ? It's part of a strategy of tension aimed at you the citizen and it's a strategy that is clearly working on some of you. Relax, this is unimportant to your lives today (unless you're in the military in which case it's probably going to be time for some waiting around on busses to defend the nation), worry instead about your rights and your pocketbook.

Funny story...that mobilization call may be coming again soon. Ah, it's great to be Infantry in this man's Army. F*** it. I stand ready to do violence that others may not have to...though, I'd much rather just settle it over and BC2 US vs. N. Korea clan tournament, but, C'est la vie, and que sera sera, and all that good jazz. Here's to hoping I don't have to put a round through some commie N. Koreans just because we can't agree on an economic policy.

Saying that there might be a World War 3 is a gross over reaction and just plain rediculous, North and South Korea did have a war in the 50's with the US (And I believe the British?) backing the South, that didn't turn into WW3 so what makes you think it will now?
