| Looks like the 7-9 Hawks play my team the Saints. Too bad alot of the secondary got hurt today and some people on the team seem unmotivated that were are a wildcard, however, 10-4 or 10-5 is decent and Wildcards do make into the Super Bowl too. |

| NFL is one of those things I've never learnt how it works. I kinda got as far as Nascar and decided that I don't need to learn anything more about American sport because it had everything I needed. Should I change that view ? |

Football...College and NFL is my fav by far. I will watch hockey but that is an aquired taste for most people. Basketball, I only watch college and only during March Madness. NASCAR = NOT A SPORT |

| Although some may be opposed to calling NASCAR a sport, I don't think we can write off auto racing as sport on a whole. |

| Of course, those are more entertaining Sambi. But, Nascar no. You don't have to watch just football, but to me, and most Americans, it is the most entertaining. I like baseball, but I don't like watching it on TV I do like to play it though. Football has alot of action and anything can change at the turn of a dime with a good move by a player, plus when some gets KTFO it is just awesome (thinks of sunday's loss to the bucs where Chris Ivory popped the hell out of someone) |

f1 for sure man. nascar to me is like putting up the bumpers on a bowling lane. sometimes your ball might jump over to the other lane. but for the most part, it's always the same. |

That's a good point (about Americans liking football). I was listening to Mike and Mike on ESPN radio a few days ago, and they discussed football rising in popularity in the country, and baseball has almost started to "die". I mean think about it, the Giants won the World Series, we had perfect games, no-hitters, Felix Hernandez won the American league Cy Young Award with the highest ERA in history, yet none of it really resonated with the public. They (the sportscasters) attributed it to marketing. And as you put it Nuke, football is just plain exciting. |

Always is, unless these season you were watching the Cleveland Browns or the Cincinnati Bungles. Although Peyton Hillis of the Browns is a BEAST. Now, don't get me wrong every now and then I like to watch a few minutes of some baseball players I do have interest in, I am not going to say like because I don't watch it enough, but people like Prince Fielder of the Brewers, Alex Pujols of the Cardinals, and Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay. Football has some action, it may be hard for foreigners to grasp the game at first and be like WTF is this exciting? But youll learn why, I have an old online UK programming buddy who watches the NFL as well late in the night/early morning every time he can, too bad he is an Eagles fan |
