Worse has happened GHOSTBEER so them burning the american flag doesn't really terrify me all that much. Heck I've seen at leastt 30 different people in america burn the flag lolz. Talk about Irony
i understand that and i've seen it too. it's usually for protest against our own government, but when you are helping fellow countries in a war, burning our flag isn't the way to go. that's a whole different discussion though.
There are effectively two Englands, in England we watch football, drink beer and think that you Yanks are okay if not a little uncouth and worry about our family members that are away with the British Army supporting our allies while they worry about us drinking too much supporting England.
In england they watch Soccer, drink lemonade and think that America is the Great Satan and burn your flag and ours plus go to troops homecoming parades shouting 'Troops Out' and calling our soldiers murderers while worrying about their family members that are away with an entirely different army while they worry about getting paid money to sit on their arse by the state to save up for a flight to paradise.
I come from England, the people you refer to come from england and when the two sides meet it's a bit troublesome to say the least.
I would like to apologise to you on behalf of the entire English people for our previous Government that let these horrible scumbags get a foothold and for the burning of a proud symbol of a mighty country. The next time I see someone do this I'll be sure to kick his teeth in so hard he'll be crapping teeth for months.
i'd buy you a beer. probably 2.

I think last night showed why Gerrard DESERVES the England Captaincy infront of Ferdinand...
Shame what happened, Really feel for Green
For those of you blaming the game to Green should think about it, hes already got a whole country shouting for him to be benched, he doesnt need anymore, even though i do agree on James being the first choice goalkeeper

The Australian anthem at the start of the game was one of the loudest one i've ever heard in my life for any country!
Too bad our performance wasnt as good as our passion
