As the world cup is just around the corner, i thought it would be fitting to have a world cup thread!
So post here, the following
Who you think will win (And who will you be supporting?)?
Who you think the Top Scorer will be
And last but not least, are you expecting any surprises this year?
I'll start
I think England will win, i will be supporting them and Australia.
The Top Scorer i think will be Oscar Cardozo, 36 goals in 45 appearances for Benfica and his Paraguay team are playing Slovakia and New Zealand in the group stage.
I think the surprise of the tournament will be either Oscar Cardozo winning the Golden boot, or New Zealand to reach the round of 16

If i'm looking on the data, everyone has a chance, normally i vote for brazil but they are in group G with portugal and ivoorkust, they are both very strong so who knows. i think it'll be spain this year.
In group G is also nord-korea but they don't stand a chance, i bet they'll lose all their maches

Supporting : England. Top Scorer : Wayne Rooney. Surprises : Ledley King gets caught on camera taking 'advice' in the back four from Rio Ferdinand despite Ferdinand allegedly being too injured to play with balls. Rooney gets through the whole world cup uninjured. Jamie Carragher scores.

For those who have not heard the World Cup song, here it is, "Wavin Flag"
Good song with a really catchy chorus!
A big improvement from 2006 Shakira

can i jsut say that this is not the original waving flag, the artist changed for coca cola and it became a world cup song. search it on youtube and you might find the original
