EA have announced a new Battlefront title on the Frostbite 3 engine.

I KNOW This is great news, I'm glad they're doing it since Battelfront 2 was pretty epic.

Battlefront II introduced me to the shooting genre. I fiend on it with my Playstation 2 for hours, days, maybe even the equivalent of months. I'm extremely excited about Battlefront III. This title will beat out anything they will release for this year and the following.

i never got the chance to play any of the other Battlefront games but all my buddies tell me they were really good, now the DICE is taking over the project, they say it will be amazing, im actually kinda excited to see how it will turn out

Star Wars: Battlefront III Preview
From what I can analyze, it is a definite on Hoth, and you can infer that the Empire and Rebel factions are in. In addition, the game looks beautiful, absolutely stunning from the graphical content in Battlefront II. DICE is an incredible developer, I just hope EA can make the game a success without its typical shenanigans.

Love a bit of Star Wars BFII was pretty good fun ... Shame there is no more KOTOR on consoles any more ... Played both of them to death!

I put an INSANE amount of hours into battlefront 2 and several into the first. I think'll I'll have to agree with deathdealer on his first post hehe.
Fantastic news, especially since it's frostbite 3/DICE.

Honestly, I love that BF3 is being made and will be out soon, yet I can't help but feel that somehow EA will screw this up in someway.
