| I mean when you are in the kit menu on the 'T' Commo Rose and you get a list right? Well if you right click them you get a slightly different one (i.e. an alternate kit). Now this may not be a different weapon at most times, there are slight differences. For instance, you know with the Rifleman kit you can have either a rifle with optics or with a red dot/iron sights. You can select the optics version with LMB in the menu and red dot/iron sights version with RMB. Where this matters is with less common weapons such as the LMG of the automatic rifleman. You get the standard optics version or one fitted with a red dot/no optics which could be handy for closer range engagements. Or for instance, with some Marksman kits you can use the rifle w/o a scope which can come in handy. Basically it's optics or no optics depending on the map and situation. Hope this helped although it might be a little confusing. If you already knew about this then I guess I just never discovered it |

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2 Your steam directory might be different, also installer should find that automatically. |

| Can't wait to play it with you guys. Btw, you know how bad my computer is so generally I can only play Kashan Desert, Asad Khal, Battlem for Quinling (at times), Beirut (at times), Jabal al Burj, Operation Archer (at times). May seem like a reasonable batch but they're not really on much (bar Kashan and Asad). Oh and about the Alt kits, fav. has to be Red Dot LMG. 'Tis beautiful |

| One thing that bugs me about that game is the Anti-Air. It seems when I get AA-missile launch no matter how many flares I put out theres a 60-40 percent chance of it hitting me :/ |

| AA evasion is a tricky one, there are a couple of strategies to avoiding PR AA. If you use buildings, mountains, general obstacles to break the line of sight from the AA and flare from time to time then you should get away. Another option is to head straight up vertical with full afterburner to 3000ft because BF2 physics means the higher you go the faster :S
The flare bouquet kinda works too, if you know it from P4F then it should be easy but it's kinda hard to explain. Basically head 45 degrees up and go inverted while popping flares in the motion, creating a kind of bouquet which will fall slightly slower due to being above you. The flares should stay in the line of sight of the AA and scramble the lock. |
