The Blue-Green rivalry, Cal Poly vs. UC Santa Barbara. The biggest college soccer rivalry in the nation (no joke), and it's right in my backyard.
Cal Poly made history by going into Santa Barbara and beating the Gauchos for the first time in 14 years (at UCSB). For the past five years EVERY game has come down to the wire, usually seperated by just one goal, resulting in fans rushing the field every time. It's just too bad I didn't go this year

The total attendance was 13,467, the seventh largest crowd in NCAA history. (this game usually breaks top ten each year, they set the record two years ago i think.)
