Nuketown 2025

Not sure if anyone else saw this, but it's a couple days old. Decided I should post this.

Looks like they're bringing back Nuketown as an MP map in BO2 as part of the pre-order bonus. Obviously you've got a huge polarization on this type of close quarters map. Some hate it, some love it.

NO MORE PREORDERS! But really I wont preorder BO2, cause I did with BO and it was crap on PC.

I hate the hype about Nuketown... not the map itself. Like Justin Bieber. I would be indifferent about the kid were it not for the obnoxious/stupid/idiotic hype and fanbase that surrounds him... same effect for the Nuketown map. "VOTE NUKETOWN FA**OT!" "OH YEA? DRAGSCOPE 1V1 NUKETOWN B*TCH!" *kids jizzing themselves everytime the map appears* etc.

Its not bad, looks wonderful and offers great fast tight quarters gameplay. But the attitude surrounding it...

Yeah I hate that map.

Re: Preorder, I don't know. I probably will get it later on when it hits $40 or less around black friday. Standard edition only. I won't be buying any Cod Elite or DLC unless its zombies. Razz

I agree Insevin. I enjoyed Nuketown, untill it was voted in as much as possible. Gets old after a bit.

I'm the same way that map was made for close combat not for snipers now I will say this about the guy and girls that play with a sniper you got some skill being able to quick scope the way you do but come on there is no need for a sniper on the nuke town map or any other close corners map

Disagreed, snipers are good even in cqc without qs as long as the user is decent.

Funnest thing in the world used to be sniping on Cod4 Shipment... good times! Very Happy

well like I said I wasn't putting down the people that use the sniper TwistedEvilWill in a great sniper all I'm saying is I think it would be more enjoyable in my opinion if close corners where left to the short range weapons

I can see what you are saying. But imagine sniping on a map about 1/3 size of nuketown: thats shipment on Cod4. Now thats skillz. Razz

Today its horrible. I played it regularly back in 2008-2009 and it was amazing!!
