| Okay so I am curious. A lot of my friends aren't interested in the Olympics even though it is happening in our country! Pfft... Who here is looking forward to the upcoming events? Who do you think will win? Who are you waiting to watch? What is you favourite event? Personally I think Team GB will do very very well in the Cycling. I am waiting to watch Sir Chris Hoy! This man is a MONSTER!! 36 and still able to break records! Also, do you think Usain Bolt will win the 100m sprint? Can he hold the Olympic title again? I think that he has some very serious opponents. I'm not sure if it can be held, Yohan Blake is very fast now (training partner). http://www.london2012.com/medals/medal-count/

| I have been following some of the News about the US team; dunno I like watching most of the events.
And for cycling I think Sir Chris Hoy (maybe someone else) the guy you are talking about is this one guy I read about. I dunno, some cyclist trains for 20 minutes in extreme heat (160 degree Sauna), absolutely astounding |

| How can people not be interested when it's happening in their own back yard. I mean who knows when the next time the Olympics will be in London and with it being every 4 years... could be a long time. I'll watch whatever event ends up on TV when I turn it on and hit that channel. Hope USA takes it of course. In case you were wondering what events http://www.london2012.com/sports/

That was epic It won't beat China, even with Danny Boyle doing it. But Michael Phelps. let's see what happens And yea I don't get that, how can't people care even though you are the host country? I mean that's kinda dodgy. |

| No Trister, it's proper cycling :L
And sorry to be an ***, but it's Great Britain, not England.
(Although technically it should be the UK) |

| Even so, there are 4 types of cycling. Road, track, bmx and off road/downhill. GB has at least 1 person per category able to take a medal, probably gold. Not too sure on mountain biking though. And yes Trister, it is proper cycling lol. Watch Shanaze reade. She could take a gold for us. |

| Well for stuff like athletics, there are loads of subdivisions for that, same with some other events, at Rio 2016 there will also be Rugby 7s and Golf.
I'm looking forward to all the cycling (excluding BMX), handball and hockey mainly.
(Oh, and Women's beach volleyball)
13 minutes! |
