| I bought my first AR on the 30, took it shooting and I enjoy it! We blew up a freezer with 4 pounds of tannerite, and blew up a vacuum cleaner with half a pound. I almost got hit by the Dirt Devil logo lol Anyways here it is: It's a Huldra Arms Tactical Evo with a 14.5 inch barrel. It's pretty bare right now as in terms of accessories, it cost me a pretty penny when I bought it so I didn't have the money at the time to trick it out. In about 2 weeks it's going to one mean looking beast. |

| Minnesota eh? You can have ARs there I see Carrying one in Rhode Island or Florida (places I've lived) would be grounds for SWAT to take you out. :O |

| AR-15? Is that the original rifle that the M16 was based off of?
Any particular attachment you have in mind? Optic, barrel, stock, magazine, camoflauge, etc.? |

| Add Minnesota to the list of states that I might move to when I'm older if you're allowed ARs xD But that AR15 is looking sweet I want one. |

| Here in NY, all automatic weapons are illegal. Best gun I can get my hands on is maybe an 870MCS from Vietnam. |

Any particular attachment you have in mind? Optic, barrel, stock, magazine, camoflauge, etc.? Yea the AR platform is the the Civilian version of the M4/M16. As far as upgrades, I'm doing everything I can Magpul. Right now I have a Magpul CTR stock, Magpul B.A.D. Lever, MS3 Mission Sling, Huldra Arms back up iron sights, and two P-MAGs. I believe the M16 was introduced in Vietnam to replace the M14. The M16 was having some issues, so the Military went ahead and gave SF the first AR-15 models. |

| In Mass you can have an AR-15, although it can only be semi-auto. My brother had one, it was a Colt. I think it was modified as it shot 7.62x39 and heard/read that factory was 222 or something like that and we found out the hard way. But the thing was loud. |

Just so everyone knows my AR is not full auto, it's semi, but I can deer hunt with it lol I don't live in a Class III weapons state, and if I did i would buy a full auto anyways as the gun itself can cost up to 10,000 dollars plus not counting the ATF stamps you need. NY you can own a AR but it's going to be restricted, mean fixed stocked, and a ten round mag. You get caught with a collapsible stock or more than a ten round mag, your going to jail. There are more states that are restricted as well, CT, MA, MD, NJ, and CA. In Minnesota your not restricted on how many rounds mags can hold. I have 3, 30 round magazines. We can also have collapsible stocks. Here you can pretty much do whatever you want to your AR as long as your not making it fully auto. The only stipulation here is you have to a permit to purchase or carry, which I have. All I had to do fill out a form do a background check, and I was out in 15 min with my new firearm and was headed to the range. If you live in a restricted state, NY and CA are the worst, and if you love guns and want fun toys, in all honesty you should get the hell out of there if you can. I'm not the first one to have said this, I'm part of gun forum that I frequent daily and people that live in Compliant states hate it. After all this, I can't to get my upgrades so I can take a Carbine course, and do some hunting. |

| Yeah you're right about MA, but an AR-15 is an AR-15. Mass isn't as firearm friendly as other states like the one north of us (NH). I've heard OR is pretty lax as one of my girlfriend's friend lives out there. |

Usually you have to have a permit to purchase, you don't have to be a cop or anything to own on in a compliant state. You just have to jump through a S*** load of hoops to be able to own one. Which I think is bullshit and seriously degrades the 2nd amendment. |

I got First Class on the L98 on a 25m range but didn't do too well using the .22, hopefully I'll fire the LSW in the next year since I'm an army cadet. Anyway, I don't like the guns laws in the UK which is another reason I want to move to America. Nevada seems relaxed about fireams. But firearms in the UK are an utter pain in the arse. So uptight and everything, you have to be bloody 18 to own a bb gun for crying out loud, and it has to be two tone. |

| You can own air rifles at 14. I think the UK gun laws are good.
My L98 qualification was at 100m, got 212/225, my .22 was at 25m, got 73/75.
You ACF? |
