I was wanting to gauge people's interest in this game. It's shaping up to be a fantastic one and I remember playing the very first one all those years ago (I believe it came out in 2001).

Kind of surprised no one else in the clan really is looking at this game. It looks ridiculously awesome.

my best friend works for PEGI wich classifies the new games in age catogories etc.
And i asked him past tuesday wich newgames or gonna be hot and he told me max payne 3 is gonna be ridiculously insane.

It looks really really good!

From what I've heard Max Payne 3 is shaping up to be one the best games of 2012. I don't know if it'll be clan worthy but who knows if its as good as everyone is saying it just may be. >

I love Max Payne and played through the 2 first ones, it only sucks that they keep changing his looks, i favor the First one, look and story wise.

The first game really embraced the "noir" type feeling of the game. However, his face and hair were a little..comical to say the least, lol.

Lead character is max payne, a NYPD cop. in part one of the game, he finds his family dead in his house. To uncover who has murderd his family he goes undercover, he fights his way through loads of mobsters to find out. The murder has to do with the drug called "Valkry". An experimental combat drug that should have led to higher combat peformance in the battlefield. this drug failed (only 1% of the folks had positive effects of this) and makes 99% people see devils and become crazy. fighting through loads of drug junkies. He finds the woman responsible on the hit on his family. A woman called nicole horn (she had to do with the valkry drugs in someway, don't remember exactly) he finds her and kills her. You also meet a friendly woman bounty hunter among the way: "Mona Sax" She isn't very important in part 1 but she is in part 2

Max payne 2: Back in the NYPD max still faces the horrors of his dead family. He discovers a plot with the "Squeky cleaning company" undercover assasins disquised as cleaners. Throughout the game. A Mobster boss called Vinnie is being blamed for having these undercover assasins. His russian friend "Vlad" (also seen in part 1 of max payne) helps him throughout the story with help and advice. A crapton of enemies later. Max finds Vinnie in a bomb suit that explodes when he would take it off. Max tries to save Vinnie by bringing him to Mona Sax, The main helper of max in part 2 of the max payne game. Vinnie then however tells Max his real enemy: Vlad. He was the sneaky bastard from the beginning (Even he was involved in the death of max' family). Vinnie get's intercepted. He dies. Max get's a D eagle in the face but still lives. He hunts down vlad and kills him. This is however at the cost of mona sax' life. In the hardcore mode you get an alternate ending with her being alive though.

It also involves corrupt politians but that would take even longer to write!!!

Part 3: max leaves the NYPD and goes to brazil to work in a protection office. Once one of his clients are kidnapped and goes into a roadrage.

I'm pretty excited for this game. I have had it on reserve for quite sometime. I have played one and two and can't wait for number 3z I don't know how te multiplayer is going to e but te story looks bad ***!!

The MP does look pretty sweet. Especially since you can carry your "crews" into other Rockstar game titles, including GTA.

I also thought it was cool that when you do bullet time its just like in the immediate area instead of the whole map otherwise it just be like bullet time all the time.

Which Platform you getting it for?

Probably for the 360 Max. I can't get my HDMI cable to work properly with my PS3.

Whats wrong with your HDMI cable? I have had problems with it before so I can probably tell you how to fix it.

Whenever I try to turn my TV to the 1080i output it keeps knocking me back to the 480p version.

I plug in the HDMI cable to switch it and I just get a blank screen for 30 seconds and it goes back to 480p.

The game is pretty intense

Lots of crazy bullet time cut scenes but the story is put together very well so far. I just started Chapter 5
