More than likely wont be buying it, Mini-AT-ATs walking around and Horses?!?! I thought this was the year 2025. CoD is going downhill, looks like Ghost Recon for me.

Well if you read, it shifts back from the 1980's BO missions with Alex Mason and his son David, it looks pretty cool and I don't know if COD is really going downhill maybe just Infinity Ward.

I know but its true Infinity ward will never be as glorious as it once was. I believe Treyarch was the mother of COD and will continue to be.

Well thats your opinion. But you must admit Treyarch did make the first 3 CODS plus W@W so it is the Mother in my opinion.

The very first CoD that started the entire franchise was made by IW, so was the second, then they made the Modern Warfare series. IW started the whole thing.

Oh ya xD, my bad. Fine....Infinity Ward is the mother of COD. But still you have to admit Treyarch brings a whole new COD game to the field each time and a lot of people just hate it because its different that what they are used to.

The only thing I will admit to about Treyarch is that the have good support for their games, the CoD franchise will never ever be what it was when CoD4 came out.

Thats something I can agree with you about.

In my opinion, Infinity Ward had excellent development of Call of Duty titles before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After that, it developed poor titles. I believe Treyarch, after releasing Call of Duty: World at War, began to maintain more stability in better titles for Call of Duty. I actually think that Call of Duty is a great franchise, and although I prefer Battlefield because I believe it has excellent development, Call of Duty still has potential due to Treyarch.

I'm not too thrilled with the current state of how they are going to develop a futuristic warfare, as 2025 is near, and I doubt we will develop as much as technology as they plan, however, it still looks interesting.

Also, I agree with MegaMax; Treyarch has better support for their Call of Duty titles, and soon, if Infinity Ward continues, might become the Mother of Call of Duty.

Also Splinter, does it really matter about how illogical the age is? It's a game. I don't care if the Woods is 138 years old, it's still interesting, plus, it's 2025.

Infinity Ward only made two games before CoD4.... So if you didn't play them you don't have much to base development off of.

As to what makes you infer that I did not play Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2? I'm basing this off of my own knowledge and experience. The previous titles before Modern Warfare 2 revolutionize a gaming community. The games were nearly perfect and had perfection in many aspects a shooter should have. The slowly, that started to diminish.

The best one was CoD 4

They are going to make a 2 year releasement now instead of an annual release.

If this is true, I'm glad that Activision has finally learned that annual releases just lead to poor development. Maybe for once, they might consider a BETA, which is very much needed.

Activision announced this.

Every COD game is a 2-year release now. Infinity Ward creates their game while Treyarch's game gets released and vice versa.

I wish they would stop releasing a game, then release another right awya. Let people play the damn thing for a bit first. I like the series that take longer to release, due to 'usually' better designs implimented, instead of that rushed feeling.
