It ought to be interesting with the four new indoor, multi-level maps. All I can picture are the Damavand Peak corridor battles times 10. I'm sure they'll have big rooms with destructible walls! 10 new weapons sounds nice but, it's like, how many more weapons could you add and be different enough.
There's also 2 more map packs slated to be release after that. One being a concentration on tanks and saying to be one of the biggest maps Battlefield has ever seen. I wonder want the new vehicle will be. Can't imagine it being another aircraft but then what ground vehicle.
And the server rentals for consoles will be a huge benefit to this clan.

I'm not trying to get snappy just trying to say something before the CoC says anything :p

It is kind of dissapointing that the next DLC is close quarters but we get more guns, enhanced destruction and I cant wait for the "Armored Kill" and "End Game" DLC's :3

Biggest update, above all of the new DLC coming up, is the fact we will get private servers!

Yeah the addition of private servers on console is awesome :3 Would be good if people could host private games as well but you don't need 8 people to start the game like on Bad Company 2

Pretty psyched about the biggest map in BF history and all the new weapons, maps, vehicles, etc. I think the close quarters maps are needed somewhat--I know a lot of people love to hop on metro, at least on the console, because it offers something different other than the 12 other maps such as no vehicles, cqb, etc. But it does look like a stolen map from the campaign lol sort of how I thought Bf3's karkand looks like the map they use in several of the campaign mission and the co-op mission: Operation Exodus.
To me nothing about that article suggests console server rentals other than the title imo.
The quote they got from DICE GM doesn't really say much lol. And this quote I think is why I'm questioning this in general:
Quote :
Whether these providers will support console, or even how DICE will manage dedicated servers on console, is currently unknown.

I think your right, really vague on the console rental,Although that is one thing i really miss about PC gaming. .I really feel lke they are making promises they cant or wont keep,(not im a timly fashion, and multiple delays).surely they must realize from the feedback on the fourm thread Battlefield players(90%)are not happy. Its got me seriously considering trying to find a other game to play,or atleast invest serious hours into.I'm also one of the guys that buys every bit of DLC that comes out for a game I like,I would have no problem chunking down $20.00 a month for a new map every month.pitching in to rent dedicated servers.heck even buying dogtags and cameo.I think they are really turning their backs on the educated ,over 25 years old serious gamers who want perfection out of their games, and is willing to pay for extra for it.And doing it For the 15 years old and younger FPS(cod)age group, that dont have the patience to learn a game that has bullet drop in it.they want to be badass in the game 3 days in.(13th younger clan members excluded of course). I just feel kinda like a consumer that is getting bad service at a restaurant, but not a manager around to talk to about it.
