1. Install Battlefield 2
2. Download and Apply 1.41 patch, and then 1.5 Patch. Note: Patch 1.4 will take a lot of time to install, depending on your system. You dont need to install them if you own Steam or any other updated digital copy of the game. Patches will take about 2.5 GB of your free space
3. Download and install Project Reality 0.97 Full client (3 parts) and Map Pack Note: Full client will take about 4.5 GB of your free space
4. For full teamplay experience you will need to install PR Mumble 1.0, it is included in Full Client install. If you for some reason did not installed PR Mumble with Full client, you can download it from here.
5. Before starting the modification, please READ field manual
6. You can now launch Project Reality

I tried to play it but it's just too intensive for my laptop. I agree it's a very good mod though.

I used to play it loads, then I uninstalled BF2 because it was getting really buggy for me. Haven't been able to get it working yet but I would love to play Project Reality with familiar faces. The things is though, I have the cracked version of BF2 meaning it's not legit. that means I can only play on cracked servers which tend to be foreign ones. Once I get my BF2 sorted out I would love to join in the fun though. BTW, my favorite kits are Sniper (Marksman is nearly as good but I like distant targets), Grenadier (because I like lowing S*** up) and Pilot (because I always loved flying). I've never had a spotter though (for sniping etc. always been lone wolf/wookie). Anyways, might need some help with my BF2 first. Having some difficulty.

Hurry up then, origins sells bf2 complete collection for 5 dollars, or 5 euros
If you dont like that system, still you will get cd key, and you will able to use it on your current install! ;D

Yay! My PR finally works again I can join any server for now... that's until it sees that my CD key is invalid :/ Anyway, just a question. Do you guys have legit copies of BF2? And if you don't then what servers do you play on (I'm guessing they'll have to be cracked or something).

Yes, we have legit copies of Battlefield 2. Its cost a very small amount money in Origin. 5 euros, dollars for Battlefield 2 Complete Edition.

There is some cracked servers like chinese, vbios (ukrainian), and some russian. But do not expect good players or fare admins there

You may be able to join non-cracked servers, but not all the time, it is kinda easter egg from 1.5 patch

I have Battlefield 2, just need to install it. However, I will try and install it. I can run Battlefield Play4Free on High, so it that good enough to run this?

As for full-time membership into a Battlefield 2 squadron, I think I rather stay with the Marauders, but like always will do part-time to help out, if this becomes official.

Well I can't wait to get my copy of BF2, albeit 7 years late But I have thought about being in a BF2 squad and it would be cool

One thing, I even lag when on Muttrah City and that's just about as intensive map wise as I can get. My favourite maps have to be Kashan Desert, Beirut, Al Basrah, Burning Sands, Asad Khal, Jabal al Burj, Fallujah West if I can run it, Pavlovsk Bay and Black Gold.

@DeadlyChaos09 I think you'll be able to run PR:BF2 at a steady frame rate and some higher video options, well that's based upon the capability of your PC when you say it can run BFP4F on high.

If anyone wants to play tonight I'll be on TS @6pm GMT. Maybe we could get something going eh?

There is no official BF2 squad, far as I know. We just play BF2: PR randomly right now

Yeah BF2 is a 'responsibility' shared between the FP division squads sort of

What mod? This mod is in other games forum
