Thank you!

From the members of the 13th to Bronx, Endrane, Spino, Projekt, and Vanhoucke, (The CE Staff):

We, the members of the 13th, would like to give a huge Thank You to Bronx, for providing us the most insightful responses to our, uh, uhmm, questions and the ability to show us the reality, cold hard truth of our problems, concerns, and questions… “it happens”, to Endrane for skimming off the top of our donations, to Spino for remaining unknown to what you do and who you are, to Projekt for not contributing to anything at all, and to Vanhoucke for which no one can understand.

In seriousness, some of us know, while others could only imagine, what it entails to keep a clan running; maintaining, fixing and managing a slew of things, coming up with ideas to better the 13th and to entertain, and much much more. Needless to say this takes a lot of work, effort, dedication, time, and sometimes money from one’s own pocket. It’s not easy and it’s hard work in keeping the 13th alive, fun, and active for the past 2.5 years.

We would like to extend our appreciation, our gratitude, for providing a place to gather and play the games we enjoy, with the friends we have made. In showing you this appreciation, there were many who wanted to but couldn’t, together we have raised $400 to be split between the 5 of you, to get yourselves a gift or to do whatever you’d like with it. Thank you for all the work you have done.

I really do wish I could donate. But bronx, I jsut want to say this. Even though we have our scraps once in a while you still are the best clan leader I've ever had. It's because I met you Im in the 13th. Im glad to have met you mate.

Wow...

I can't say in my wildest dreams that I thought I would get a gift like this. Raising the amount of money ($400 in total, $80 for each of us) in what seems to be a very short period of time, is damn impressive. And keeping it a secret like that is just as impressive as the amount raised if not more so. It is initiative like what is shown here that drives the 13th as a clan, and I wouldn't be here at the 13th if it weren't that members like you guys who have donated your own time, effort, money, and ideas, to shape this place into the great community it is today. I really can't thank you guys enough for, not just this show of generosity (for which I can't possibly overstate my gratitude for by the way), but for just being part of the 13th, and for doing the work that you guys do. You are what makes THIS clan RIGHT here the coolest on "teh interwebz". Leadership is nothing without a great community of people like you to work with.

The money being provided couldn't have come at a better time, as I need to make some decisions and spend some more money to keep our domain name. Much of the money I plan to invest back into the clan, in the form of renewing/transferring the domain and/or donations to the clan's reserve so that you can continue to enjoy the services this clan provides. The rest I am putting towards some fees I need to pay up for very soon so the cash infusion couldn't be much more perfectly timed (my Star Wars: The Old Republic monthly fees and my McAfee Virus Scan subscription for example).

I just wish I had a better way of showing my thanks to you guys, other then putting together this post and continuing to try and serve you guys here to the best of my ability. I am currently hard at work on a few projects (partially why I am on the forums a tad less often) to try and benefit the members here, both new and old that I hope to share with you guys soon. Thanks again, to all the donors, both specified in the post (Cmdr.Ghost, Eco_Ranger, GhostOps21, Insevin, Mekline, Nmd12345, NYC.SnIpEr, Quack, Tommy, Toryin, Trister, Weras4213, Zloty99) and unspecified (you anonymous guys).

No, Thank You GUYS. Without you guys, this clan would not run smooth at all. You each have showed the huge commitment of time and effort to keep this collection of online warriors together. I am glad to call this place home, and despite many rough patches, whether that be in real life or online(for myself or the clan), we have remained together. I have met many amazing people, and many of them are still here, and I know it's only because of this inviting and friendly community on both the forum and the squads.

I only wish I could have given more, but I also wanted to donate to the clan overall, as both the CE and the clan overall deserve it. Thank you guys once again, and happy new year 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit!
