| Image by: Trister Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone! Be thankful, eat your turkey, gain 20 pounds, spend time with family and friends, get drunk or at least have a drink, and watch some games. Speaking of gaining weight, raising turkeys increased 2% from last year, raising some 248 million. Now that's a lot of turkey meals. A small break down of turkeys raised by state: - Minnesota at 46.5 million
- Arkansas and North Carolina 30 million.
- Missouri at 18 million
What are these states doing to have the need to raise so many turkeys when, one would think, a big state like Texas or California would have the most. Here's some other Thanksgiving food facts: - 750 million pounds of cranberries
- 2.4 billion pounds of sweet patato
- 1.1 billion pounds of pumpkin
That's a lot of food for US to eat. So in the discussion of food, what kinds of unique things are you having for your Thanksgiving meal? What's Thanksgiving without some football. Today the GB v. DET @ 12:30pm, MIA v. DAL @ 4:15pm, and SF v. BAL @ 8:20pm all on FOX. Place your bets and lets watch from the couch, with our belts unbuckled, hand tucked in the waist, and hoping not to pass out from all the turkey and beer. Now who's going to win? Lastly, the whole meaning of Thanksgiving... to give thanks. Be sure to thank those who deserve it. If you have one thing you're thankful for, or someone to thank, who or what would it be? |

| Happy Thanksgiving to everyone I work in a grocery store and I probably helped provide half my county's turkey consumption today, lol. Can't believe the holidays are really upon us. Time flies. |

| Happy Thanksgiving to all! Speaking of food, my dinner table, which is 2 yards and 4 feet long, is not enough for all the food. We have mash potato with gravy, sweet potato, turkey, chicken, pork, fish, salad, cranberries, lasagna, fettucioni alfredo with shrimp. And for dessert ( ) we have flan, arroz con leche, pumpkin pie, apple pie, coconut pie, and cake. For my bets of the game, I say Packer, Cowboys, and 49ers. Although I am not as thankful as I would be for family and friends etc, I am thankful for all the wonderful members of the clan! PS: That's not all the food, I just forgot some |

| We have food for 25 but, only 19 are showing up. Anybody want extra food?
The only thing we are having that I would think would be different is a rice pudding with cinnamon for desert called Arroz Doce (Sweet Rice).
I'd like the thank the 13th for providing a place for me to get online with friends and play together as a team, sharing moments and life, and having some laughs. I've had some great moments here and hope to have more. Thanks staff members of the 13th! And of course my friends, family, life, and freedom. |

| Happy Thanksgiving guys. Hope you can deal with the extended family for a day. We actually needed to get 3 large turkeys for the whole ordeal. Plus my parents put me in charge of making sure the younger kids dont make a mess. Ah well, hope you guys'll have as much fun as I will. |

| Well the younger kids are driving me nuts. You realize how hard it is to get twins to top fighting over a juice box? Still having a great time though, family football match, family eating time, family watching the Dolphins get their butts handed to them.... |

| Screw Miami! I was hoping they would win. Pretty corny game if you ask me. I mean, all games that end with field goal are so cheesy and lame in my honest opinion. Oh well, let's hope Giants can top the Saints. |
