Why make a twitter? Honestly who here can say that they honestly use twiter on a regular bassis? And not just to post but to actually follow people and read updates. And what is wrong with just checking the fourm for info and updates? I don't think it is needed.

twitter is dumb -_- there's really no need for it.. I agree with you spino. That's why we have this site

ok then wiat bronx but we can infrom you about clan wars in litle time (you can have twitter on Xfire too )

the only benefit i can see for this is to have a duplicate of the clan news section, and any new news posts that turn up are copied to twitter, for avid twitter users.

I like to think that if we have a twitter and a facebook page then that will in turn help get more members

I don't understand why there was so much hate against it. Twitter would be VERY useful for the clan, especially for recruitment.

Sadly, @13thMEU is taken. Thinking of an alternative, I see that the clan's YouTube username is 13thMEUOfficial. I searched Twitter with the same name and @13thMEUOfficial is untaken and ready for use. ( -> www twitter com/13thMEUOfficial)

About managing it... um... I'm just a Private. Not sure if you guys want the new dude doing it. But I'm willing to help out if its OK. Squad leadership and officers could simply PM me tweets and I could post them, or I could give whoever needs it a special email address that sends tweets from email directly to the twitter page.

i think there is a app for websites for twitter soo the people in the forums will be available to read twits from the forums... it will be good for practice and events

Ya this has been brought up and discussed before, and I believe denied. I do agree that members would be more intune with what's going on in the clan as, I assume, more people check their Twitter and Facebook than they do this site. However, you should be checking the site regardless at least every other day or before your practice time so that the SLs don't have to re-explain everything and take time away from practicing.

The app may help in that we don't have to post updates on those social networks but, we wouldn't want everything posted up on there, depending how this app works.

Also People may just use The twitter etc to keep up to date on forums and could result in less activity on forums
