COD: Modern Fishing is over rated. COD: Black Boats is where it is at. They took out the (overpowered) wild life protection agency catch streak and removed water vibration sensors and the n00b net. And catch streaks no longer stack, which was great. Plus they added bots in fishing training mode, and brought back dedicated servers. Plus the new wager matches, such as rod game, in which you have to make a catch with every fishing rod in the game are awesome. It was quite surprising how much of an improvement it was, especially seeing as it had a new developer. Infinity Catch is out of their depth, Catcharch is where it is at when it comes to COD.

The story is better too. It takes place during the Cold War and follows the mission of Alex Fishson and Victor Fishnov. The 2 became best friends working together to break out of jail, (caught for overfishing) and then meet up later to make the greatest catch of all time. Fishnov's methods for catching fish are unorthodox and illegal, but *spoilers* it turns out that Fishnov never escaped and you were projecting your actions onto him. The game ends with Alex figuring out a message from jail and realizing that the catch he was looking for... was in Cuba. So you go to Cuba and make the catch.

Oh, I love the rod & nets wager mode. I also like the Ground Fish game mode, because more fish get to compete against each other. Demofishion is fun also. I loved the campaign too, Fishnov is awesome. Great thing they saved The United States of Fish before Nova-Fish sleeper salmon released the deadly fish-bait.
