Yeah I think prone would be good on Conquest but keep it out of Rush.
hmm... i think it might be kinda unrealistic to ask DICE to alter basic controls based around the gametype being played. it would either have to be in, or out.
they had prone in battlefield 2. but not in Bad Company. it'll be interesting to see what happens in BF3!

Yeah I would like to see a bigger game from 24 to maybe 32....I would like MORE but 32 will be a goot step in the right direction. Obviously MAG shows it is possible for more people but they had to sacrafice game detail and I like how good BC2 is, so hopefully 32 wont compromise anything.

Dear Dice, I want a pony but please can we not have prone back unless it takes at least 30 seconds to go prone as after playing Battlefield 2 for so long everytime I see a dolphin I want to throw up.
expand the chat. geez. why make a 12 game team and you cannot talk to them all? derrrrka durka.
I would like XBOX to expand party chats but as for the game. It makes sense in a game to communicate with all members. BF is known for being more realistic then other FPS, so why not communicate with the team? In BF2 there is the same problem, only talking to people in your squad BUT they do have the "General" who over sees the battle and sends orders to all the squads. Personally I don't like it, either open up full chat or do something similiar to MAG. Squad only talks to a squad but the Squad Leader can communicate to the other Squad Leaders or something along those lines.

Jets!!! More weapons. More maps following the example of Heavy Metal. More medals, rewards. Vehicles! Just like In7aake, A communication feature for SL. Some close-corner maps also. Pure awesomeness. Destruction 3.0. Get the Dolby guys to do the sound like in BC2, god, the sound in BC2 is beautiful. And more pure awesomeness.
i'm not really sure about the larger maps though. they are too big. yeah, big maps, but heavy metal is waaaaay too big for rush. when there is no vehicle, running is ridiculous. conquest on there is even worse.
i'd like them to fix the random spawn crap. i know it's random, but maybe when your squad is down, you can pick a certain area you are allowed to spawn in. this way, campers and such waiting on a particular 'known' area cannot just get you. and if you choose in front of them and get shot, it's your own fault and not the game destroying you.
kinda like when you are playing pool and your opponent scratches you get to shoot the cue ball wherever you want, but behind the kitchen (which is the second diamond on the creak side).
As long as the console versions don't get dummed down in any way shape or form I think it'll be awesome. There's nothing worse than one platform getting special treatment then the others getting a half-baked version. :p

oh and wind should affect bullet trajectory on sniper rifles.
and we should be able to lay prone. seriously.
Possibly implementing the coriolis effect? lol

doesnt that only play in to situations where the target is like a mile away?

The coriolis effect affects all bodies in motion. Without going into a hueg physics rant, I'll just copypasta something that's from the internet and seems to be accurate.
Quote :
At 1,000 yards the Coriolis deflection is small but not necessarily trivial. At the latitude of Sacramento, a bullet traveling 1,000 yards would be deflected about three inches to the right. In addition, because gravity pulls the bullet down as it flies, you'd have to aim higher or lower depending on the degree to which you were facing east or west. If you were firing due east, you'd have to aim six inches lower, since the earth is rotating toward you, meaning your target would be slightly closer by the time the bullet arrived. If you were firing due west, you'd have to aim six inches higher.
Empirically from my own experience, shooting down the Stickledown 1000m range at Bisley in the UK there is a coriolis deflection of approximately 40mm with 7.62mmx51 NATO Sniper Ball. There is a further alteration of about 25mm for Spin Drift and because the weather is usually a little murky and can slow the flight of the round through increased air density and particulate count generally the CE effect will be more pronounced as the velocity of the round at target falls. This is however secondary to the effect of sustained shooting on the barrel by the 4th or 5th round out of 7 in a comp spread and the comparatively massive effect of wind. Nevertheless it's still something that needs to be compensated out with the original zero to local conditions and orientation, a luxury that a military sniper might not have.
Comparing this to Battlefield Bad Company 2 for example on the Arica Harbour map, and using the container ship as a measuring tape (at an estimated length of 250m) I estimate the distance from the top of the hill overlooking the town to the end of the level as 900m. Make from that what you will . . . . .
