| Ouch, that sucks. I have a love and hate relationship with summer, it's nice.. but to hot. Luckily I don't burnt at all, only on rare occasions of standing in the sun for hours without sunblock lol. |

Anything to get a Purple Heart, hey? Take care with working to rejuvenate your skin. As someone who worshipped the sun in my "beach boy" youth, I am paying the price in my old age with frequent "required" visits to the dermatologist. Get well soon. |

| I recommend using aloe vera and vitamin e to help soothe it out. If it begins to itch, use cremes with hydrocortisone. If its painful, topical sprays containing anesthetics such as lidocaine or benzocaine should do the job!
Hope you can get over it soon bud~! |

| Oxycodone? That'll take ya off the pain, and make you real high later on! haha.
When the burns are a little more healed though, it'll get real itchy, then you gotta use hydrocortisone. How'd you get the burns? |

| Took my neice and nephews to Jetty Island and baked in the sun. I knew it was happening so I put on a shirt too....but, too late. still got fried. Got some nasty little blister across my shoulders. |

| I got 2nd degree burns too several years ago. I actually got so toasted that I had sun poisoning that made me throw up several hours later.
My skin started to bubble up across my chest, shoulders, back, neck, and face. It was horrible. I used Aloe Vera but the stuff got soaked up so fast that it would almost dry it out and I was left with little green pelts of Aloe Vera stuck all over me.
Somehow the sun screen I used was out of date or something because I was basically unprotected while in the pool for several hours.
In short, I feel your pain. |

| my face got really burned in lake havasu one year. yeah, my dumbass didn't wear sunscreen the whole weekend. nothing like 3 solid days of soaking in the sun. it was bad. they have this stuff called 'insurance gel'. a lot of tanning salons sell it. it reverses the affects of a burn. you should check it out. plus, it feels better than aloe vera, it's amazing.
and be glad you didn't get both of your sides tattooed. i did both last night and i slept like ish. |
