| So I think the knife mechanics have changed and wanted to know if anyone can confirm or deny.
I myself have felt it and have heard others mention it, when you swing the knife you just swing through them and knife the wall instead of killing them.
I belive what has happened is that EA has put in a knife "head shot." When you are properly aimed at the head area, you will "old school knife them," IE bring the knife from backwards and look to stab them in the head.
However, if you are aimed at their body or torso you swing through, still causing damage I believe but not killing them. I think it takes two knife swings to kill someone. |

| i tend to see patterns that the "swing" tends to work more often when your being shot but for the "stab" hell idk..something i get the swing when i am for the head |

| I also must note that I believe that if you get a knife stab in the back it is a one hit kill. ( As all knives should be...). |

The two times I've been stabbed I've just got massive rage and smashed the crap out of the person that stabbed me. I got bottled once and that fucking stung though, it might be worth putting a broken bottle in lol. Having you need to be behind someone and stab them in the brainstem is more realistic but it does make it harder to kill someone. Now that Bayonets seem to be under discussion this might make the knife mechanics debate irrelevant. Either way Defib is the shiznit when it comes to close quarters |

| That begs the question, if you can revive someone through the wall can you defib kill the enemy through one? |
