| So have at it fellas! The high damage 2-round burst, AN-94 or the less accurate but 3-round burst M16A2? What would you use? Which would win? In what scenarios?
[I'm curious to hear the responses] |

| Depends on a moving target or not, well lateral I mean. I assume the 3 round burst will be more forgiving with a moving target.
I like the M16 better but overall prefer the m416a I think it is. |

| I prefer the AN94 in close to medium ranges, but long range there is just no beating the m16...however that may have changed with the patch today haha |

| Damn,I'm just soo in love with the AN.
Currently I have 2252 kills with it and still not bored with it. I like to believe that I gave the M16 a fair chance, but I seem so much better with the AN. With the update it seems EVEN BETTER at far range. |

| at close range, the m16 is very deadly with its burst, but the AN94's range is incredible. it doesn't have a lateral recoil, so if you aim at their chest, you have a good chance at a headshot! |

| I'd say it depends on if rumors are true.
Post Patch, the AN94 became superior on paper. However, the rumor is DICE dialed back the 94 buff due to complaints.
We may have to have a couple of volunteers joust with the 94 and M16A2 in a private match. They could try with/without magnum ammo, AR Training, Ceramic Ammo and at various ranges.
If I am correct, the accuracy edge goes to the M16A2 and the damage edge goes to the 94.
BUT I want to know for sure which girl to bring to the dance when running assault with grenades. |

| Personally I have great success with the M16A2 But I can't give a judgment on the An94 I don't really use it much |

I'd like to see the post-patch performance as well considering that I think (after playing with it post-patch) the M16 feels a little dumbed-down. Does anyone know if the M16A2 SA was affected as well? |

| I would definitely take the M16A2.
1) Yes the power is less, but it's off-set by the three round burst. 2) I would take accuracy over raw power. I've registered a LOT of headshots with the M16A2 from medium distance. 3) I just like the way it sounds haha =) |

| I'm a AN94 guy myself, but the M16A4* is decent.
*The M16A2 has an unremovable carrying handle, where as in BC2, you can replace it, but at the same time, its a M16A2, so really it's a hybrid M16A2-4, lol. Sorry I felt like vent about this. |

Very well... If you're available, I will put primary weapon post patch testing on our 9pm EST Thursday Night agenda. Otherwise, I look forward to your report if you do some testing with your UK squad mates. Axx |

Axx I think performing the post-patch tests would benefit the [13] BC2 console division if we tested and reported the findings Axx. I think we should put the post-patch tests on Thursday's agenda for sure. |

| We will also have to include a comparison of the winner against something like the G3, which is my favorite go to all kit rifle. |
