It's......it's just amazing. The scenery is ridiculously breathtaking. I literally did about 4 missions and spent the rest of my 6 hour play session messing around. Hunting animals, being hunted by animals, playing poker, blackjack, horseshoes, breaking in horses, stopping murders, tracking down bounties, stopping bandits when they road into town.....that's not even half of it!

The only problems I have had are:

1) PS3 versions get another outfit. I couldn't connect to the Rockstar server to download it with my code.
2) SOME frame rate issues but not often enough to kill the mood.

Yeah blazin, its so unfathomable isn't it? I have yet to see what a guide for the game looks like because I would think its probably like an encyclopedia! There's a ton of cool features like the "Dead Eye Meter" which slows time down like crazy (makes for awesome bullet time effects), and just like in the old John Wayne westerns, you can pick a fight and duel people! The PoPo are called lawmen and they come chasing after you like the police officers in GTA!

RDR makes great use of the Euphoria and Bullet engines in what is now their proprietary technology -- the RAGE engine. This makes for unique physics and effects that are essentially different each time you replay just a single scene; this is to say that the engine calculates and renders in REAL TIME, not pre-rendered ragdoll physics and animations that you would find in the CoD series. You'll see what I mean when you get in game.

It looks awesome, i dont have a ps3 or xbox but my friends have ps3's and it looks so good

hmmm is it a RPG? It didn't really seem like one from what I've heard before but now you guys kinda make it seem like one. I guess what i'm tryign to ask is do you make your character and develop them with the decisions they make or is there a set character that has a purpose but it's sort of a non-linear feel so you can take a quest from your objective to do whatever?

Red Dead Redemption was a truly epic experience for me I just couldn't believe how well thought out and planned the story was. Also hunting grizzlies was freaking awesome in it's own right
