Tip 1: Do not sit in one place and camp for more than 5 kills!!!
Tip 2: The jump key/ crouch key is your best friend.
Tip 3: When you are running from place to place use sprint.
Tip 4: "Death Room" If you open the doors get ready to start shooting as soon as they open the first thing you see aim/shoot.
Tip 5: Keep a automatic assault rifle/ Sniper rifle on you at all times.
Tip 6: Don't waste your money on new side arms/ mele weapons.
Tip 7: Play with your mouse sensitivity, ( [] <-- default setting for changing sensitivity)

Reduce combat arms!

First thing you should do is identify what type of lag it is. If it's the screen freezing lag it has to do with Combat Arms. If it's the consistant-low-FPS lag it has to do with your computer.

Screen Freezers:
This generally has to do with how many people are on your friends list, so first thing's first; delete all people on it (aside from essential contacts, results may vary). I've also heard (meaning it's unverified) that if you're in a large clan it can cause this issue as well.

Low-FPS!
This generally has to do with your system, so the first thing you should do is download Game Booster. The second thing you should do is try to remember the last time you de-fragged your HD, because that can speed your performance up quite a bit. Getting rid of your background also can help a bit, and running the disk cleanup (START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>Disk cleanup). Also check your comp's specs and compare them to these:
• Windows 2000 or XP
• Pentium 3, 1 GHz
• 256Mb RAM
• GeForce 2 MX or equivalent video card
• DirectX 9.0C
• 2Gb Hard Disk Space
• 128 kb/s Internet Connection

Those are the CA requirements, so that could explain something.

Freezing Lag:
1. Delete friends list (makes an AMAZING difference).
2. Go into a small clan.

Low Fps Lag:
1. Game Booster
2. Disk Cleanup
3. Defrag HD
4. Check your computer's specs
5. Delete background.


Last Resort: Reformat your computer!

Same takes me 2-10 mins to load

takes me 30 seconds to load on CA....

I take around 10sec to load the map... But when I try to connect to the login server I can see the litle dude running for 1-2 minutes :@

Always is 20 seconds and under for me. Oh and does anyone else get this problem? Sometimes I am playing a game and everything freezes up and 10-15 seconds later the screen turns black. Then I have to restart my laptop. Any solutions?

Nope... I know bomber has 512 MB Ram... very very small hard drive space... all he can old is like 10 games... well i got like 100 + games on my laptop....

Lol i got 2.5g ram and like 4 HDD: a 200gig for my series, a500gig for my movies and games storage, a 40gig for windows backup, and a 250gig for windows and instaled games lol

Thats a lot of gigs there.

I got 3 Hard Drives, 500 Gigs for Movies, Music and Games, a 50 GB back up drive and then my main Hard Drive, 300 GB's.... I only say i have 500 Gigs is because its the one i mostly us... 5.00 GHz and a 8 GB Ram, and i also have a built in Webcam and Mic.
