tldr; Who is willing to making monthly donations towards the BF3 server and how much?


It's been an honor in contributing this server to the BF3 PC division since the release of BF3 in Oct 2011. I, and hope you guys as well, had some great and fun moments and enjoyed the opportunities this server has given us. The opportunities in holding practices, training, scrims, recruiting, special events, and just plain goofing off.

After 15 months and around $650 later, I need to make a decision in keeping it or shut it down. I know we have 2 others servers, Sillypigs and Quacks, although I can't find Quacks, so at least 1 other server and I'm sure you'll be fine with just that. There are 2 more days to renew. I'll extend this for 1 more month in order to give time to review feedbacks.

Basically, I'm looking for the clan and/or its members to come up with at least half, if not more, of the server's monthly costs. I'm willing to pay the remaining costs or shut it down. Multiplay has a clan donation feature that puts all the funds towards the server; it's in my signature.

The slot prices are:
32 - £22 (~$35) (~€26)
24 - £17 (~$27) (~€21)
16 - £13 (~$20) (~€15)

What I'm looking for at this time is how many are willing to donate on a monthly basis and how much. Once the feedback has been given, it'll tell me better what number of slots we can afford. Shall the donations drop, so will the number of slots. Shall there be no donations, shall be no server.

first of all tris, thanks for hosting the server all this time. It allowed the 13th PC BF3 to become what it is today. But I understand your decisions. I can donate some €5 to €15 a month.

Sillypig is hosting a server as well, but he cannot turn it to unranked or something. Quack is also hosting a server, but he hasn't allowed us to admin it yet, meaning we can't use it for practice.

il donate to keep it going since i play Bf3 on PC now aswell so u can count me in for around 30 bucks a month

I don't usualy do this...but i will make a donation if is still necesary round 30 euro..every 2 or 3 months

Talking to a guy from Dark Resistance at the moment, trying to set up regular scrims with them, he said if it goes well they could possibly donate money towards it, as they don't have their own EU server.
