So Ill have finished my gaming PC rig by the end of this month. The only problem is that Im used to using my Ps3 controller and Im not used to playing action games with a keyboard. So should I stick to using a gamepad on pc or is a keyboard actually better in the long run? Would I get murdered for playing mp on something like BF3 on pc with a ps3 controller?

a gamepad is not bad for action games like assassin's creed or just cause. However I would not recomend one for first person shooters like battlefield 3. Most players, and you as well eventually are very fast and accurate with a mouse. There is no aim assist to help you accomodate for recoil even if you play with a controller. Flying helicopters and jets might be easier with a controller, but a lot of players like myself fly mouse and keyboard only because of the precision you can achieve, even though I have a joystick. I would reccomend a mouse wich has on the fly sensivity switch. That way you can set the sensivity way lay when you are, let's say, sniping and need to land accurate shots, then turn the sensivity to normal when you play infantry, and then set the sensivity to very high when you're driving a tank so you can aim around really fast!

TL;DR: Keyboard/mouse is the way to go for pc gaming

yes we can, also the crusaders ofcourse They play in your timezone anyway it's not really the keyboard that matters thát much, it really is the mouse that makes a pc gamer a pc gamer ;D

I think that with a Keyboard and Mouse you can pull the shots off easier than using a controller, and as they said: you won't stand a chance with a controller on PC FPS.

Yeah, you just won't be able to match the speed and precision of people with mouses on BF3.

i am not that bad with mouse an keyboard i allso use a ps3 controller am dam its hard to aim with a controller basicly i got owned lmao so yh use a keyboard an mouse best option
